In Zimbabwe, laughed my lungs out when Trooper got to the part when he talked about Garnet Silk, Capleton & Luciano. Respect my Elder Trooper for sharing this precious life experience. Garnet Silk was really poweful, heaven sent. When he was killed I locked myself in my little bedroom & shed tears for the warrior. I had just discovered Garnet 2 years ago & I would play his 2 cassettes I had a TDK 60 & TDK 90 the whole day just fliping them over again & again. Thats how much I loved Garnet. That did not end there, I grew up listening to a lot of Reggae from the 80's but it was when Garnet died that I finally decided that I was going to dedicate my life to the preservation of this devine sound called Reggae music, I turned singer first singing Garnet Silk songs with a live band called Cruxial mix in 1996 here in Zimbabwe / Africa. This year I have released an album tittled BORN TO LEAD which is on all top digital platforms.
