I was at that game I have Been watching spurs for 50 years And I must say that was one of the best individual goals in a cup final of all times And I was at the first game they both played in for spurs Pure class
Ricky Villa...the Che Guevara of the first division. Along with Ardilles they lit up Tottenhams game. Brilliant stuff. I remember the 1981 cup final like it was yesterday.
One ☝🏿 of the greatest goal 🥅 in football history I will always remember this one ☝🏿 until they bury me 6 foot deep Classic Classic Spurs Chelsea,Arsenal eat your heart ❤️ out Tottenham are the classiest club in London when we win we win with STYLE 😇😇😇
That game was the replay. Ricky and Ossie were barred from playing in the first game as HRM The Queen was there and could not be seen presenting them with medals. We all cheered when Ricky walked around the pitch in front of the Spurs end before the game. I remember he was wearing a long black leather trench coat. We (my future wife & I) were behind the goal when Ricky produced "that" winner. Everyone went absolutely mental - brilliant!!
Ricardo González Every kid in England in the 80s and 90s knew who Ricky Villa was because of his FA Cup Final goal. It’s still shown every year on cup final day in the highlights of great cup final moments.
