After seeing Acola’s Kazuya vs spargo, this video just shows me that Riddles spent a lot of time to make Kazuya work at this high of a level, and I respect that.
Tbf Acola's Kazuya is good, he's won matches vs Tea in the ditto. But by the time he switched to Kazuya vs Sparg0 he'd already lost. He was missing electrics and basic confirms.
Bro Sparg0 can beat Riddles like that too, this game is hard and you not always on your 100% but that time at Kagaribi, Sparg0 was like 110%, if Riddles would be there in semis or something, Sparg0 would have beaten as Riddles as bad as he beat everyone, not anybody could take him to game 5.
The sad thing is he openly admits to having no life in his comments. Dogs like him could really use some euthanasia. Same goes for all of the Smash community. Actually, dogs are more dignified than that. Oops.
Kazuya when first released: "too slow, wtf with that jumpsquat, recovery is too linear, therefore mid tier." Kazuya when fully utilized by Riddles: "Kazuya is OP, lame, broken, same combo everytime." Lol Kazuya was carried by Riddles.
Is that what you tell yourself every morning when you look at the mirror? Riddles is trash and since Kazuya is hyper unbalanced it is obvious he is gonna get results. And don't even come with "Kazuya requires skills you don't even know". No, he does not. Have you ever seen TEA playing Kazuya? He does way less combos than riddles, mashes a lot and get results still. He even won a ditto against Riddles by just mashin.
Everyone is carried by the mechanics of their character, regardless of what the character is (we don't talk about bottom 5). You can either live with the fact that characters like Kazuya and players like Riddles exist, and train to become more annoying for them to fight, or you can complain about a character rather than actually thinking about the factors that lead to the decisions behind your loss. I hope people recognize Riddles' ability in this video. He's a force of nature.
I LOVE seeing Riddles do these combos perfectly! It's so satisfying seeing a stock be deleted with perfect execution. It's such an adrenaline rush seeing seeing how silky smooth the combo goes! This isn't sarcasm btw. I really do love this, even though Kazuya is extremely overtuned. Maybe that's why I like it so much?
It's because of the hard work and practice he put into the character. Bayonetta's combos were all so easy, they were boring. Riddles adapts his combos based on the stage location and enemy's position/health.
Riddles isn’t carried as proven by his success with other characters but Kazuya as a character is blatantly one of the worst designed characters in smash history

He ranked top 8 at a SF6 tournament a few weeks ago. Do your homework before leaving hate commente, he’s one of the most talented fighting game players of all time, being extremely talented at Tekken 8 while simultaneously winning smash tournaments and getting top 8 at SF6 tournaments
@@farewell418 I don't care how good that guy is. Nor I was saying he's bad or something, learn to read my guy. I never discredited the player, I just said that kazuya damage is beyond broken which it is(professional players say it all the time) and when I say even someone who never played fighting game ever can make kazuya look godlike it's pure facts. One of my friends was destroying me and my mate who are much more experienced in smash and in general in fighting games. He could only do it with kazuya btw, with any other character he was getting low diffed.
There are two sides to this comment section. The side that hates on Riddles for playing FGC Characters. And the side that respects Riddles for being the best FGC Character player but still hating Kazuya
Guys if kazuya is as broken as everyone is starting to say then why don't all top players start using kazuya at least as their counter pick. Ohhh thats right kazuya isnt great in every situation and there is definitely ways to beat him
Hot take: Kazuya is balanced, but not in the traditional sense. Yeah his combos alone aren’t balanced in any way, but they still managed to balance him enough to where he isn’t always the correct answer for every scenario. Broken enough to reward tryhards the most out of any other character, but not broken enough to be able to 100% beat every single character in the game like with Meta Knight in Brawl.
@@MHScaldjust because kazua has guaranteed death combos, doesn't mean they're easy to execute. Like if Luigi's 0-death was easy and consistent he'd be top 10 on that alone
this character is dumb but riddles also perfectly mitigates his flaws, which is honestly more impressive to me than the crazy combo stuff since that’s what kazuya’s “supposed” to do
tbh I feel like I'm watching an elite smash reel. Wish Riddles would play more Terry again. I know he wants results but dang I'm not feeling watching something like this.
Its not even about being carried, because Riddles is an awesome player and top 10 in this part of the world through and through. Kazuya is just not fun to watch to such an extreme degree that it is bad for the health of the game.
I like watching him a lot better than Steve that's for sure. At least he has to get in your face a lot while Steve just distances himself and farm for blocks and diamonds.
@@William38827 There are dozens of kazuya players in the competitive scene, and somehow, only Riddles is in top 8 at pretty much every tournament. Please, i'd love to know why Kazuya only chooses to carry Riddles. (and like 2-3 others but not to this extent)
@@toureyounouss7897 Like Kazuya has one of if not the worst disadvantage states in the game plus he has to actually play neutral and find openings to get started, sure he has jank but he has to earn his jank.
