I owned a ZX14R (or ZZR1400 as they're branded in the UK) for several years and it's a great bike. Incredible power and lots of fun. But you're right. It doesn't really have much of a place in a game like Ride 4. I can't imagine ever choosing it for a race when there are so many other options. It's just too big and heavy.
I used to love the zx1400 in ride 3, mostly because the categories were all over the place and in many events it was ungodly overpowered X) I remember I had some real fun with it in tracks like mulholland drive, ugly af but still pretty beastly. Didn't get it in ride 4 yet though.
@@DrAce46 it was a real mess... categories all over the place, overpowered pay-to-win bikes everywhere, in many events the AI constantly makes times worth of a top 10 place in the world leaderboards, in others it felt like grandmas were riding... and so on. One of the laziest excuses for a game I had ever seen, honestly.
@@DrAce46 been playing it until a month ago, I just bought the 4. Luckily this one doesn't feel like a lazy money grabber at all, I agree with you. Better in every aspect.
4:34 Just won the bike in Career and I went ahead and tried it in Macau. I love electric bikes and cars, but that is the worst idea ever. I do prefer the sound in this game. The MotoE bikes sound like kettles boiling once you reach top speed in Mugello, which is still too slow anyway.
I am a big fan of the vyrus' look, it just is a great low poly design imo. And the way you feel the brakes not working on the ego, is a great testament to the underlying physics of ride 4, because of it's high weight the stopping power is very noticeable.
Cheers @DrAce! So I predicted this video 😂 A lot of controversy hehe, you have the entire right to love whatever bike you want, but you just can’t dislike someone else’s beloved bike, isn’t it true? 🤔😂 . Personally the one I don’t dislike is the Virus, it’s supposed to be an engineering plus style concept bike, quite interesting imho. But tbh, I don’t remember how it feels because I never use it 😂. The electric one was a big disappointment, it would be nice to have other electric bikes and an exclusive category for them in time trials. The hyper kawa for me is by far the worst. The busa with some suspension tweaks is pretty decent compared to the green giant. And I agree with one of the comments, the first Hayabusa version was a beautiful aerodynamics exercise. Imo they ruined the Busa looking with this one we have in Ride4.
Honestly speaking for me all Hayabusa’s are ugly 😂 I like the look of the larger bikes like those. Haha no controversy here! We’re all friends mate 😎 I like doing these lists because it’s been super fun to share and hear opinions of different bikes 👍🏻
Great list/debate! I'm totally with you regarding the Ego, which is a huge disappointment for me as that bike used to be one of my favs in Ride 2.... definitely not the case here. I also dislike HDs and hypersports, like you, and this is because this game is about track riding - if the setting would be different (point A to point B Street riding, with or without civilian cars, OMG, I'd love that) I may love those too... But here, I agree with you, they are not.... relevant. This is foreign territory for them. This is the case with SM and the 300cc bikes as well - the vast majority of tracks in Ride 4 are too big for them, they just lack the power and speed to be enjoyable. For me, surprisingly, the other end also don't work: the 200+HP Panigale V4 and the other highly powerful bikes, they are just too much... (I don't use TC in this game, it ruins my experience totally, maybe it's because of that...) Funny thing is: this game is too forgiving, yet those bikes just don't handle... right for me. The "sweet spot" (like in real life) is between 100-160HP, I prefer those ones mainly. And God, I'd LOVE a street version of this game.. :) Nevertheless, great video, Ace, keep up the good work!
Spot on mate, the supermoto bikes really missed the mark this instalment due to the lack of tracks designed for those bikes. I agree with you I prefer the 600's and 1000's to the RM bikes, they have a fine a balance of power and control :D thanks for sharing mate, I like these debates amongst friends
ZX14R is a sports touring bike and isn't particularly made for racing but it's fucking great irl, best bike I've ever ridden, and you can get used to its different looks
Owned busa gen 2 for 9years.... When you get to know the bike. It's fast af, heavy pig but fast. And best wind resistance, aerodynamic in real-life. Aerodynamics #1, power/torque in #3.... And in #9 in design😂 But agreed for you at least for ride 4 🤘
@1:51 No, this bike has a skitish rear axle if you ride it hard. @2:53 I dig the look. :p The stradale version is too underpowered compared to the competition. Its extremely light weight can't compensate for that. @6:32 Yeah, but they are in the top 10 of most leaderboards, especially Ulster GP.
The ZX14R and the GSXR1300 Hayabusa are not meant for track racing. They are massive, highway/drag strip missiles. They are sledge hammers and the 600-999cc bikes are scalpels.
I get why they had a couple of the only Harley sport bikes but I cannot figure why they didn't include any Buell bikes in the game. Buell is literally the sport bike subsidiary of Harley Davidson. Sport bikes with Harley V-Twins.
I fu€king love the 14R 🤣🤣 you can’t race it but I use it in time trials for the crack and i rode one once, it’s a comfortable bus with a fu€king amazing engine
the new r series looks 1000% better (except for the r1, it looked better pre 2015) and the hayabusa is and will always be hideous (objective fact, definitely not personal opinion)
I just wanna point out everyone’s definitely wrong about the busa being the fastest bike in the world. They are incredibly quick but nah not only is the ninja h2r the fastest bike in the game it’s also the fastest bike in real life. It hold’s a record of snapping 400kph (248mph) in 26 seconds. And they backed off the throttle so it could’ve done a tiny bit more
