Ride Along 69 AMX 390 4speed 

raced one with my 440 six pack cuda' years ago and that damn AMX was on my rear quarter the whole time.....much respect for these screamin 2 seaters

i bought a javelin ,390,automatic sst new in 68. only the 440ci would eat me up. very competitive with all other muscle cars

390 go pac. Good hp and little weight. Very good car.

I had a stock 69 390 4-speed, and even the factory motor was too much for the stock clutch. I notice yours slipping on the 1-2 shift. If you've done any engine mods at all...you need a hi-po clutch for sure. Sounded great, I reeeeallly miss mine!!
