Is this feeling as a result of a youtube rabbit hole of videos like this one? If so, our algorithms are similar as are our interests my friend. I agree completely with your comment, it is interesting. Have a nice day.
The truck siren is like that because in Italy there are too many roads and majority of them are so narrow . With this frequency you can understand where truck will come
I’m Italian and honestly didn’t know about this, but I’ pretty sure that the Fire Department and the EMS (which both use the same siren) won’t be able to drive in narrow streets, most likely they’ll stop nearby. Also narrow streets are only present in a few cities, like Naples, Palermo etc..
@@gabriele5931 Interesting part is I am not Italian. I read this information somewhere. So it makes sense. Btw rest of the world can call italian roads narrow roads. Even italian themselves can think it is not narrow, but huge.
weird yeah in italy problably somebody can stop you to beat the shit out of you if you don't give the right to the emergency vheicles, or at least i will.
US Firefighter:What?! What are they doing? Italian Firefighter: They're moving out of the way.. US Firefighter: Cries tears of joy.* There's hope.. There's HOPE!
Retired firefighter here. Yes I am very impressed how the traffic is moving to the right. Total respect for the fire department and to the address of the incident.
@@ronaldlynnjohnson7589 This is very common in Europe... Some react faster, others don't, but it's normal for everyone to make way for emergency vehicles.
In Italy we are not that great drivers, some people are not so respectful of road rules... but emergency vehicles are in general taken in great consideration
Unfortunately I have to tell you that it is true. Not everyone respects the Highway Code, that is, of Traffic. During an emergency it is advisable to let the vehicles pass by enabling themselves first, moving in the shortest possible time.
Crazy how these drivers can hear this two tone audible alarm, yet everywhere else you need 4 different alternating alarms, air horn and powercall just to MAYBE get someones attention.
first off, KUDOS to the Italian drivers. For all the shit they always get for not being able to drive properly they sure know how to move out of the way of an emergency vehicle. And secondly, that's some mad driving skills displayed by the driver of the fire engine. Dancing through the traffic like it's not even there and keeping a really good pace from start to finish. Much respect from Germany
The car drivers all made way for the fire department, great descipline! Greetings from an becoming german firefighter! In a few years I'll sit on the side of the people who thaught me all the stuff I've already learnt in over 6 years teen's fire department
@Youmaywillneverknowme I'm really enjoying my.service as an stationary EMR and I'm looking forward to get into the EMT field in the ambulance! I wish you the best in your career choice, sounds very interesting :)
Thats a fair operator! Keeping a wagon making that amount of progress safely is impressive. Also love how almost everyone either moves to the side, or realises they need to clear from a narrow area to pull over, and does so quickly. Very impressive.
Italy's fire truck Pneumatic-two tone sirens sound so iconic.. edit: i realized there was a mistake, but holy crap did this comment get likes without me noticing. thank you all!
Very interesting how You have next to no idiot blocking Your way, which lets You keep up an amazing speed; most people play along and actually give way. Wish it was like that in Germany.
@@MatteoBaldi They might have been back in the eighties. Today it is a friggin nightmare, no matter firefighters, first responders or any other emergency services. There are always some trying to help/make way, but the indolent idiots multiply by the minute for years now.
@@manfredschmalbach9023 I thought that here in Italy we had a lot of stupid drivers, but at this point I think there is no place on earth safe from unresponsible drivers, especially with the fact that this days people are more and more distracted by their phones, and they tend to not pay attention to what is happening around them
Excellent driving and by the public as well. That siren is superb. Rise and fall wailers are a waste of time. That multi-pitch is brilliant. I found two air horns were good and going to electronic sirens was a backward step but that siren would do for me.
hi, this truck has a federal signal siren with 100w speaker, the air horns are still there and are used and are produced by fiamm, it depends by the customer and company that makes them, in any case these two sirens I told you about are really efficient, other brands instead have a much lower yield than these
It was so good seeing (almost) everyone get out of the way and do everything possible to let the firetruck pass. Just imagine it could be your house they're going to, never obstruct any car with sirens on, like a firetruck, a police car or an ambulance
For such a built-up area with significant traffic I was very surprised that the fire truck was able to attain and maintain such high speeds. I would suggest that you try to keep your camera fixed and steady as best you can since watching it when it is moving back and forth can create a nauseating sensation for the viewer.
a great view of the drivers actions . very good to see the other road users react to siren n lights . as a fist resonder for 16 years sometimes we don,t get such a good responce from fellow road users.
I‘m a bit surprised that they arrived without an accident. How fast was he when he crossed the red light? Arround 50 or 60kph?! No Chance to react if a child walks on the street ore something else...
@@andia.4980 The speedometer - dial on the left appears to go up in 20 kph increments and it looks like the driver's average speed was around 55 kph. Sometimes 40 kph rising to around 60 -70 kph.
@@timothymcdonnell2466 i didnt wach the tacho, but now i did and this are not 20 or 25 when he crosses the red light, its 50 to 60 kph. Each big mark is a 20 kph more, not 10. And you absolutely see in the vid that it is not possible that we talk about 20kph... 20kph is a slow bicycle...
Where I live in the US the Fire Department is known as the foundation savers. That's cause by the time they get here and set everything up to move in. The only thing left will be the foundation.
Have just started to watch your video's, and I must admit the way you maintain your speed is amazing, I think I have a lot of videos to catch up on, looking forward to watching them.
I've been to Italy many times, and I know they generally drive like madmen, but I have respect for them because I know they get out of the way for emergency vehicles

@@supertrinigamer No average fire appliance travels around 70mph on a shout (fire call) have you done the job of fire fighter well I have and I know what I am talking about
We had once a chimney fire in our village. It took firefighters 28 minutes to arrive. By then we put it out ourselves. In fact, all the fires we had we put out ourselves, that's why we keep a few hoses around because, by the time the fire department comes, there'd be nothing left. Blame insufficient funding...
@@dandomine In Germany we need at least a volunteer fire brigade in every village wich has more then 50 citizens. But even some smaler villages have a brigade.

The amazing part is that here in Italy most of them are volunteers. I’m an Alpine Rescuer (mountain rescuer) as a volunteer. Most of us besides our main job like to help others. There are architects, doctors, lawyers, speleologists ecc. that I personally know that are volunteer to help others in various districts
It's so different from Canada our fire stations even in a town of 50 thousand are close together. I think we have 5 or 6 stations. With so many buildings and people in your country you are likely way to under staffed. Stay safe
@@cm93431 That is partially true. France also uses wail and yelp sometimes, anf every agency there has their own tones. In Germany the tones are regulated by law, limiting them to country tone, city tone and the Martin horn, a 2-Tone air horn. In austria, the only requirement are two tones, enabling a great diversity, which is to be seen in my videos.
I'm amazed at the way the cars made way for the fire engine,Italian drivers like the French have a reputation but UK drivers could take a lesson on how to react.
Looking at all these rescue videos what is needed is an onboard transmitter that sends out emergency signals within 300 meters and all vehicle sound systems need an overide receiver built in, even if the unit is switched off. This will alert all these crazy divers who drive with the sound full blast.
