I live in California where there is lots of rocks and techy sections on the trails. I am also used to riding nice full suspension bikes but am looking at the aventon ramblas, if I replaced to fork for a high end rockshox zeb and the tiers for tubeless would you say it’s capable and almost as comfy as a full suspension? Please help 🙏 thanks
A hardtail can't fully replace the cushioning of a full suspension, even with tubeless, but a new front for would be helpful to this bike. It all depends on what kind of trails you will be doing, climbing on this bike will be nice on smoother gravel, but if it is bumpy you will want to be out of the saddle anyways. The same for going downhill, you wouldn't want to be sitting on the seat in the tech/rocky sections. This is a very capable bike tho
What kind of range would you get on commuting? I am actually looking for my next daily rider. Seems range gets drastically dropped. If you were traveling 15 to 18 mph. Because you mentioned commuting, have you tried that out yet?
It all depends on order weight, pedal assist level, riding style, how much elevation gain there is on your route. We didn’t commute on the road to an office as much as just commute to the trails, but it felt efficient in the lower pedal assist levels, and riding in that will get you the most range.
