excellent overview, kudos to you. you know the saying, 'eat before you're hungry drink before you're thirsty.' and you're right its not about the end more the journey. of course you try your best however ultimately its about health, fitness and having fun the bicycle does all that.
Without a doubt, the very best video on Mallorca 312. Informative, well-shot, great editing and a well chosen soundtrack. 10/10. Thanks for putting it together.
@@lonecyclistYes, I was lucky enough to get a ticket. I’m following the Wahoo SYSTM 200 Mile Gravel plan in preparation. Hopefully it will be sufficient!
Thank you for your video. I signed up for 2023. How much were you training before you go? Do you have an estimation on how many km per week? Regarding the feeding station what kind of food and liquid do they offer?
Hi Rafael! Congrats on your sing up! You’re the lucky one, the event sold out in hours and I missed it! 😭 I hope you’ll have a great ride. Regarding my training, I didn’t do any special one. I generally cycle a lot (over 1000 km a month). That includes my Wahoo SYSTM (Sufferfest) workout, riding outside and a monthly endurance (over 160 km) ride. But from my experience you should focus on climbing sessions (lower cadence under FTP) and endurance rides (3-5 hours). It depends on how much time you’ve got but I’m a fan of a comprehensive training plan, balancing various aspects. I’m do apologies if that sounds vague, though. Regarding the food and drinks, I recall I wasn’t too happy with it. They served sandwiches, you could fill up water and grab some gels (not many tastes too chose from). The best thing you can have is a an ice cold can of Coke - that was a real life saver for me. I hope that helps! Good luck!
Well, it's crowded just for a few kms, then it spreads out (especially on the first climb). In such a long race, I find it supportive to have some people around.
