The Groundhog saw Paul’s shadow so 6 more weeks of winter. 😀😀. As usual he provides his typically bashful, unassuming, shy, and inconspicuous personality. If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
37:56 Will definitely work on a rhyme! Sometimes ill go with “This stop North Hills, not the Beverly Hills but the North Hills” thanks for the shout Cndr. Paul!
I've been meaning to get to Tarrytown. I got some footage of other parts of the line north of Croton Harmon, but I would like to change that, and check out a few other parts south of Harmon.
Is it better to take Metro North to Yankee Stadium or the subway? Going to see your Philadelphia Phillies go against the NY Yankees for an April afternoon game
wondering how you feel about the LIRR's Grand Central announcement.? not being similar to Metro North's M7As.... that and I've heard a few conductors call it the dreaded Grand Central *Station* and i nearly lost it
Tim, with Paul being the conductor, shame you didn't ask him if you could shoot out of a front window, And if side view was the only thing possible, why didn't you show the gorgeous scenery along the Hudson River? We can see trees and weeds anywhere. I rode that line years ago with the New York Central MU cars. Ahh, the open windows, the whine of the gears and traction motors. If we could only turn the clock back. What a shame a train of those cars wasn't saved. You should have asked Paul to rhyme Bala Cynwyd, Torresdale, Levittown, Trenton, Jenkintown, Elkins Park, Cornwells Heights, Holmesburg Jct.,Croydon, Bristol, Eddington, Rydal, Neshaminy Falls, Bethayres, Trevose, Langhorne, Woodbourne, Somerton, Melrose Park, Crum Lynne, Eddystone, Churchman's Crossing , Prospect Park, Norwood, Wilmington, Gwynedd Valley, Link Belt, Chalfont, Doylestown , Newark, and others.
"There was a train engineer who had no rival..sped through a turn like Captain Marvel, but he crashed his train near Spuyten Duyvil". (there's my contribution...true story)
