You don't want to look like a dad on vacation! LOL! I’ll write it on a piece of paper and put it on my moccasins as a reminder to pair them with something feminine! Thank you Mariana! 😀
You mention "riviera look" and "by the lake look". Would you consider styling videos showing examples of how to achieve those looks? I would love guidance on that!
Lots of useful information. The bag was everything. You look perfect in the red stripe polo brand shirt. Wish I could wear mock neck tops, but as you said just too big of a bust. Yes on more seasonal videos. White jeans and white linen top, with pastels also and slip on sandals. My usual outfits. I have a 1950s navy leather top 2 handles trapeze shape envelope front purse I love. Still looking for earrings and brooches..love your videos. Thanks
I love your videos and we have similar style. One thing that is important for everyone to remember is to adjust according to your body type and age. I love how the lady jackets look on you, but I have a long torso and look like a cartoon character egg when I tried them on 😂
Oh so much fun. I very much like how you put a more contemporary look on the "old money" aesthetic. I have never liked skinny jeans for anybody, especially men. It was a ridiculous trend (in my humble opinion) that I am glad is fading out, or at least there are now more options. There is a general rule that we wear 20% of what we own 80% of the time (except for the capsule or 33 item wardrober types) How would you rate yourself and are there items in your closet that you know you haven't worn in a very long time? Future video or Q&A?
Great video Mariana! I love everything you recommend, very classic and elegant. I would love to see a video with lady jackets paired with skirts, it is such a timeless style
So thrilled seeing your Isabel Bernard handbag, yes which I bought, love it👍👍and driving mocs👍👍2 fav pieces you showed here. What is the brand of your mocs here? Scaroso? Wd be fun seeing your weekly Spring outfits! My fav Seasonless item is a white t shirt! Worn under vests, under a loose button down shirt worn open, or knotted at the waist and of course white jeans
Mariana, love the video as always! Try the Cole Haan driving shoes, they are utter perfection, I have two colors now and they have little gold accents. It is the "Evelyn" style.
Loved this video. I went crazy with loafers and driving loafers this past year. Have them in so many colors. Princess Diana wore light tan suede Tod loafers. I dont have the budget for Tods but found a pair of suede loafers in the same light tan color from Isaac Mizrahi. This year I bought a pair of warm silver Naturalizer loafers. They really dress up my outfits. I will be wearing my Rockport vanilla driving loafers a lot as well.
You too Patricia! Ps.: I honestly don't know what I'll wear... this week we're getting a lot of rain and chilly windy. My dreams of donning a breezy spring dress have been crushed 😂
I just haven’t been wearing my cotton, short-sleeved t-shirts the last few years. I wish I could find more tops in 100% silk knit (jersey). H&M something times has silk-blend tees, they’re fine, but I really want all-silk. I think I prefer tops with collars of some sort over tees, either a mock-neck for winter, or a silk or linen button-front shirt, or a knit style, for this time of year. A knit Polo neck is my favorite, but I’m not seeing as many in spring/summer fabrics and short sleeves, as I did in long-sleeved cashmere sweaters over the winter. Short-sleeved knits in warm fabrics don’t work for me, my arms get really cold, but my torso doesn’t, in the spring and even summer mornings. When it gets really hot, tanks and sleeveless shirts/blouses are cooler than short-sleeves, too, especially in linen. H&M has some linen jersey every summer, love it. Thanks for another inspiring video❤
Mariana, hello. I have been enjoying your videos. You are so easy to listen to. I love your fashion style. A polo, jeans, and loafers with a nice tote along with pearls has been my go to since middle school. Where did you get your red and white striped polo shirt??? I love, love, love it. Thank you for such great videos!
You've been reading my mind! I have been searching for a trench coat for a long time. I really wanted one for spring, so your trench coat video was right on time. And I was just looking at springtime essentials pins on Pinterest yesterday 😂 Were totally in sync 🥰 Please keep the videos coming 🙏🏾
I love driving Mocs but flat shoes make my back and feet hurt. Any alternative suggestions? This why ballet flats and Mary Jane’s are a hard no for me.
I still don’t get this thing about Tods. I bought 2 pairs and maybe I was unlucky but they really did not last and the 3rd pair is still with me because they are so uncomfortable that I never wear them😅. I would not buy them again and have not since. No name brand can often be much better.
I've ordered this Isabel Bernard bag, but once I received it I was shocked how poor the quality of this bag is and how flimsy it is. Yes, it is cheap and it's cheaply made, so you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, I expected more from it, so I had to send it back. Although on the pictures it looks very chic....
As I've said before...when your waist is thick and your hips and thighs are small...an A-line skirt will only emphasize that thickness and you end up looking even BIGGER than you might appear in a straight skirt. It's a great look IF you have a small waist...or at least your waist is significantly smaller than your hips...but not everyone is built that way. Also...cropped sweaters and jackets only emphasize a thick waist. They look uber-cute...until they get on the body...and then you wonder why you look so fat/thick.
@@kristinestocker Apples are thickest in the waist, too. Avoid A-lines like the plague. I think straight or pencil skirts that the hem hits where your leg starts to narrow are very flattering. Tops and jackets need to be long enough to end where you start to narrow down. I have my baby-belly still...and my daughter is 30...so tops must end below that or all anyone will see is my belly (and I have no butt, so I will appear lopsided)...not the most flattering look, for sure. Absolutely...nothing tight, but then again, nothing baggy, either. Find the middle ground.
