Today on Dead Dodge Garage, we do nothing useful and have way too much fun cruising around and abusing Dale’s Demon. Featuring a trunk full of chicken feed and a “surprise” downpour.

Im sure you hear this all the time.... but..... Damn I love the way that Demon 340 sounds..... the sounds from your videos alone should be patented as an anti depressant! You cant help but be happy listening to those sweet sounds..... I for one cant get enough of your videos.... Thank you my friend!

I do hear it a lot. I will have to look into the patent process. Haha.

Buddy had a 71 Demon 340 in brown mettalic, I had a 69 Roadrunner in B5 blue. Miss those times.

I like it it’s the perfect blend of a really nice car but not so nice that you don’t want to take it out for a little thrashing on the street or strip 👍🇺🇸

Nice reference to red green lol. Iowa public television is popular is this neck of the woods.. remember were all in this together so keep your stick on the ice.

At some point in the distant past, during the infancy of muscle cars, in a smoke-filled room filled with engineers, one of them uttered the words four in the floor. And the Mopar Gods smiled with heavy approval.

I've always kept A-bodies as one of the best handling ones. Maybe that's why i love them so much. :)

My first car is a '64 Valiant with a 340 4spd. (I still have it, but I don't have a budget for it right now.) It shifted very well. No need to lift the gas when shifting.

I haven't got my demon out yet this year, going to put a new tank and fuel lines on it soon hopefully, been running it on a jug since I put the new carb on it. Thanks for the ride along! Gives me inspiration! I didn't know you were a musician too! I have developed GAS gear acquisition syndrome! I have 2 stratocaster's a Ibanez a fender champion 100 amp, a roland jazz chorus, and lots and lots of Boss and EHX pedals and still cant get enough!🤣

Oh… I’m right there with you with the GAS. Except now I’ve turned the same energy to cars and Dodge trucks… when I was 19 I briefly ran a music store out of my living room. I sold enough gear to buy a ‘70 Dart Swinger, a van to move, and have a few grand left over. And when I moved, I still had enough stuff to stack the van with music gear, one tote of clothes, a computer and a desk. Haha. Awesome! As long as your tank isn’t filled to the brim with yucky old gas that doesn’t sound bad! I’ve got a fuel injected tank for the Charger which it desperately needs… but I’m dreading that because I also have to rearrange lines and wiring. Probably have to cut an access hole in what’s left of the trunk too. I’ll get there eventually…

Love the sound of a v8. It makes me just though away my six but I’ve put more money in that six than what my car is worth. She’s ready for forced induction of what ever I’d like. But it still I think doesn’t swat and go like a v8. I’ll wait to see your videos on the that

I know they’re essential equipment on these things, but I didn’t know people ran them preloaded. I figured you would want some suspension movement, but it sure launches nicely this way.

@@DeadDodgeGarage they do use the weight of the chassis to help plant the car. But also sends shock through the entire system. Cal tracs or a upper link does the same job without the shock.

I had a 1972 Demon 340 4 speed bench seat car in high school. Must fun car I ever owned. Been looking for one for a long time. Let me know when you want to sell that one 🙂

The RAIN! Every time I watch one of your videos it feels like I'm watching a Batman movie. Honest question: is it always going to be Dale's Demon?
@DeadDodgeGarage

Haaaahaha. We were just watching the new Batman. The rain definitely felt familiar…

Yes, I think so. I don’t really use names for cars, and I’ve been calling him Demon Dale for years so it makes sense to me. Also he’s the one that ordered the car and kept it all these years… even though I paid good money for it, in a way it’s still more his than mine.
