Let's ride to Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet! Virtually, anyway.
It's April 7, 2021 and CAR is under General Community Quarantine or GCQ again so we are holed up just like the majority of the population. This vlog was shot before the GCQ, in early March 2021 when things seemed to be looking up. For us, this is a small dose of the outdoors while we are under lockdown. We hope it will bring you some sense of freedom, as if the wind is rushing through your ears.
This is our second ride to Nangalisan and this time we are with friends which made it much more fun. The Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Road is an alternate route to La Union but is a downhill ride through sometimes sharp curves including two tunnels.
When you reach the riverside, it's a great place for a picnic, but please remember to practice the principles of "Leave no trace." Please take your garbage with you when you leave.
