As a newbie cyclist it took me two attempts to get to the top without stopping. The views are worth it and a nice coffee too! I don't understand why so many cyclists don't respond to a simple 'hi'. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy the countryside for free. Everyday is a gift, too easy to forget this. . .
@@flashback9966 well done! As a beginner, Box Hill is no joke, and honestly I also risked stopping this time because I was pushing too hard at the beginning. I was saved by the traffic 😂 I usually try to wave back, nod or acknowledge anyone on the other side of the road. The only exceptions would be when I am too concentrated about something (like avoiding obstacles on a descent) or too exhausted to function 😁
