to add a couple things for people trying to wheelie any sport bike. Gonna be a long read but it's coming from someone whose had 7 sport bikes since he was 16 (mid 30's now) and has got the front tire up on all of them. I highly highly highly recommend starting at a rolling 10 mph and no less. Honestly if you can't maintain balance at low speeds without swerving to keep the bike on a straight path then you are not ready to wheelie. at lower speeds, or from a dig(stand still), the bike has a higher chance of losing traction. Even a Ninja 250 and especially larger bikes with more power can do this. Plus come up very fast and taking you by surprise. Which leads me to my next point, don't let off the throttle all at once. this causes the front end to come down VIOLENTLY and is not very good for the bike. You can bend forks, blow out fork seals, bend or snap clip ons and not to mention it doesn't feel great on the wrists either. Everyone has done it when learning wheelies. You try and try and try and, on what seems like your 100th attempt, the front end gets up faster than your grandpa's willy after pre-gaming bingo night with a Cialis. Prioritize rolling off the throttle so the front end comes down nice and smooth. trying to pass on info to riders who come across this video, who are trying to learn wheelies for the first time and make them aware of something everyone has done. Go somewhere safe like a parking lot, get used to the front end coming up and rolling off the throttle. when you get that down, find the bikes sweet spot(balance point), maintain the throttle for it and slowly let off the throttle to gently bring the front end down. Most motorcycles can wheelie. if you're having trouble then there is something wrong with the bike or the technique. Practice makes perfect and a perfectly done wheelie looks cool, saves your wrists and your bike will thank you.
