I love a challenge and i enjoy Sportives but one thing I'd never done was ride a bike in the dark. My front light might as well be still in it's box.

How many miles to that fish and chips shop from the time you started? I really love that just knocking on a door and she would come serve you after hours. It’s a beautiful thing.

It was 45 miles in and yes she would have done that - I’m sure it’s their busiest day of the year 😁

BTW. Sun was up early. We normally don’t see that kind of sunlight until after 5am here during the summers here in Texas. Great ride and thanks for making this

Fantastic event, was my first RTTS , I will be doing it again next year. If you come across this video and thinking about doing RTTS, Do it !! its really good , such a great free event
