My company makes the Valmet 603 that you show in your video. We are now making them under the name 'DF703 Phoenix. Do you ever think about upgrading? Or do you ever need parts? Tom
Seems like that flimsy rear tire would be going flat alot, working in a splintery environment like that . Also, I have no idea how it doesn't just topple over, it looks like a person with football player shoulders, with a toddlers waist!!! Just goofy looking. A big enough tree would tip it.
pure beast mode one of the best machines I like both the four wheel feller bunchers and those three wheeled one is awesome feller bunchers are by far one of my favorite equipment love the view
I would think that factors like type of terrain, how dense the area, etc., would need to be considered, but, I'm just a video guy. I would look to the opinion of the machine operators.
We demo'd valmet track cutter a while back, cab was on the wrong side 🤦♂️, made kinda flimsy , needless to say it was gone a few days later, got a Prentice tilter instead 👍
Reminds me of bell but not as small im shour it has its place and time like every thing i see video of bell saw buncher with tracks doing awsome job in a swamp with the track it was like a mean skid steer
oh that's my favorite place ! what town you near ive been to quite a few towns out there, ie weed Shasta, lone pine, june lake,,sugerpine breaks my heart to see the buitiful timber goin to waist, just waitin for a lightin strike, foolish tree huggers! looks like you fellers are doin gods work out there keepin up the maintenance good on ya !
the enviroweenies are lucky you guys thyere to do such good work even if they don't appreciate it I;m sure the foresters & fi8refighters do , so do I ,thanks!
Fire needs three things. Spark, oxygen, and fuel. Can't do anything about oxygen. Can't control all sparks but we can reduce the explosive fuels that are in our forests and causing catastrophic wildfires.
