I’m such a huge fan of the new come up of e-bikes and I plan to get one soon. I would use it for back and forth for work and for camping. I can’t wait to get one.
I bought the street version and I'm not complaining, I thought the specs were going to be different but it's exactly the same, just more rugged looking. I did first say man I should have waited but then again it has been an amazing experience
I couldn't decide between this and the Raev Bullet GTX. After watching this video, I think I want to get the street version of this. Thanks for your review.
Saw a guy in the streets with this bike before your videos on the bike came out. Was so confused what this thing was when I saw it in person😂 looked like a super73 mixed with a surron
Great video! This bike looks awesome. That uphill slug you did is concerning (but being from SF, I am always a tough sell). I would compare this to the P-51 Bullet: great suspension, forks, and comfortable seat, with a cool look that you still have to buy a 60V+ battery & a new controller (i.e. ASI, PhaseRunner, etc.) Since I now only compare these cheaper e-moped bikes with a $2500 Goat V3 (that you may only need to replace forks & suspension), the Revv1 DRT needs to be about that same price. However, if its $1,000 overpriced like the P-51 Bullet, then this new Revv1 is a fail (in my opinion).
I guess $2,500 is ok. Not great but ok. Good upgrades for more off road. An E Cells 5 star with the upgraded forks and rear shock may be an alternative.
Looking to order this, I know in your video you were driving in the street, was it any more difficult than the street version? Love the design and just leaning more towards the dirt version. JUST REALIZED YOURE IN THE SAME TOWN AS I AM!
You should ask viewers or subscribers if they would like to see a build. Using the CYC X1 pro Gen 4 kit.. You could slap that puppy on any old bike you have or buy a regular mountain bike to test it 66 volt they say it's set up for . I think that was the one I saw. But the newest CYC gen 4 kit looks pretty bad ass Just a thought. That's supposed to be a 5,000 watt peak kit. Works with various voltages.
It's a powerhouse! Exactly what I prefer! You get so much more doing your own build. Infact, you can find excellent used bikes and add a middrive or a powerful hub and have a much better and cheaper Ebike than what you can buy, and can be easily fixed if you need to.
I watched your 72 volt conversation videos a few times. Probably the main reason why I'm deciding on getting the revv1 at some point. Wondering would you know if I went with the 52 volt battery from power lithium how much more range I would get?
I have the 55 amp hour battery from powerful lithium, in parallel with the stock battery, so 75 amp hours in total. The last long ride I did was throttle only, off road, boost mode on, I did 40 miles and had 50 percent remaining. So hard riding I would probably get 75 miles, conservative riding, 100 miles
I set offroad mode on mine and enabled boost as well but I can only ever get it up to 38. Any ideas? I have the latest street version, bought in February 2024.
I rode both back to back at a show today and liked the Ride1Up a little more. It seemed to have a better sorted chassis and suspension system, although the P51 was plush and comfortable. Actually, I would put Ride1Up 1st overall, followed closely by P-51, and trailed by Super73.
ghostcat is better for power if that's what your looking for. this bike is better for storage, adding a secondary battery and feels a bit more premium but not as fast.
My suggestion is if you don't care about the turn signals. Get the dirt version and switch the tires to a motorcycle tire so no flats. It feels comfortable with this offroad suspension.
i got an off the wall bike you might wanna check ..FREEEGO , has put out this sorta... "sur ron a be"?.... type type bike...called the x2 . .it has 60v 30ah battery 6000 watt motor and is on amazon with price of $ 2700 is this a cheap fun , ride ? OR an expensive fail ?? this looks like sur ron wanna be , but kinda looks like it could be revv1 drt competitor lol..
The frame could probably take a 205 but 273 I wouldn't trust and you'd need a hefty battery to lug that anchor around. Yea idk if that rev frame could handle the torque 😅. For reference, my chopper scooter runs a modified 273 and 4000w and runs on 72v40ah. It weighs 180lbs and I've gotten it up to 57mph on occasion....on that rev frame you would most DEFINITELY be doing backflips😅😅😅 but not in the good way
@@MrCentralDriver pricey yes it definitely is but to me it is the best ebike out there (excluding surron and talaria). Ive had lectric, gforce, super73, zooz 750, and now the Zooz UF1200. Definitely best ebike I have ever owned in terms of quality and comfort.
@@MrCentralDriver called them yesterday and they said they no longer ship the bike to Canada and I would have to cover shipping costs myself,, this would cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars.. thanks for your reply
I'm disappointed in the concept, I was hoping they would have pulled away from the original, but it's a great bike, but same crap just a few upgrades. The seat is sweet.
@@MrCentralDriver watched right after I commented and felt kinda stupid😄 love videos brother. My next bike is gonna be a moto district scrambler. Check it out if you haven't!
