I have about 700 miles on my Ride1Up roadster V2 with a dual battery system. This video is a test with power set on level one the whole time to see how far and at what voltage the battery allows with this bike.
Love the setup; where did you get the fenders & handlebar extender? What’s the max speed on regular versus maximum pedal assist & how does the extended battery affect any of these levels? Thanks for the video & TIA for answers to any of these inquiries.
that's exciting stuff. I am taking my roadster on the Haleiwa Metric Century ride on the 24th. its gonna be 100km so about 60 miles with dual batteries. im bringing my battery charger with me for the half way point.
thanks for the test! are you able to ride with the second battery not in its holder or do you have to remove everything to do that? also is there a need to waterproof the bottom where the wires go i out if plan to do rides on rainy days or traversing some wet areas?
It has held up great!!! I did replace the rear tire (Tube had a seam leak, so replaced tire also) and the process was easier than I thought. I viewed ride1up support info on their website showing how to do it. This is a really good deal, if your roads are not smooth …could be a bumpy ride.
No I do not detect any drag from my hub, same feel as the rest of my hub driven ebikes. Until you mentioned it, I never thought twice about any drag from any of my bikes. I never stop pedaling though……..:)
