Its amazing how the news media is trying to act like this is a dangerous situation. The ride is doing exactly what it was designed to do. 12 minutes is actually not very long .
Elias Mertens -_- being stuck 300 feet up in the air for any amount of time you didn't account for is scary and unnecessary. "Only 12 minutes" you say? You try being up there, and then say that.
@@stephanielightsong i love this ride, this park is my home park after all. this ride isnt scary, its relaxing. sure its a little scary going up but after that, i would LOVE to get stuck up there
I rode it last year around august and it worked perfectly fine. None of the seats are loose or anything so its not like anybody would have been in real danger
This same exact ride was at Knott’s berry farm in California where I rode it. It was always stuck, broken, or being maintenanced. Totally ridiculous that it’s doing it again and they’re not taking it down!
This happened to me on the 4th of July this year! It was just three days ago. It's terrifying when you're suspended that high in the air without any idea why the machine is malfunctioning and no idea how you're going to get down.
Stephanie people say it over dramatic because there supposed be high up but for the people who are new to that ride yea um that pretty freaking scary so nobody wrong it just depends on what YOU think no hate
I went on this ride with my 9 year old daughter. We didn't get stuck thank goodness but if it had it would have been very scary. I had anxiety even going on it but wanted to do it with my daughter. People thinking 12 mins is no big deal but even 5 mins would have been scary. People even got stuck on it for an hour. I'll never ride this again.
I mean… it gets stuck everyday but nothing ever happens…your just stuck … if your just calm you won’t get hurt ,even if it falls.. the ride never touches the ground it’s the safest ride there and when you get stuck they give you a fast pass❤️❤️ so
Over the years not a single death was there fault there have been some deaths but it was the riders fault so that means they are probably using safety methods that stops the ride
My friend was on the mamba one time and she was in the front seat and when it stopped at the top of the hill, she was over the edge basically dangling.
Disarray that can’t happen. No trim brakes on that part of the run, and nothing can stop it after it leaves the chain lift hill until the first brake run.
I'll bet my first born the 12 minute delay was some idiot whipped out his phone. Never been to worlds of fun but at my home park, cedar point the ride always stops everytime I'm on it. Problem is always someone with their phone out and they won't restart until that bonehead puts the phone away.
Omg this is not a big deal. They just got stuck in the air for 12 minutes. I mean all rides are gonna get stuck ofc. But they wanna be talking about how bad steelhawk has gotten stuck, what about boomerang?
BackSeatJunkie it's not that they have a design issue, it's that they're prepared for a malfunction. if the manufacturer and user didn't prepare for the worst situations and how to get out of them, people would die. however, that doesn't happen. it's just another piece of machinery like any other ride, so there are safety precautions and might break sometimes. so what? it's literally not that big of a deal.
All of the wind seekers do this cedar point wind seeker breaks down Canada's wonderland wind seeker breaks down it because of the manufacturer but this stuff doesn't tuned to be on the news the people don't stay up 301 ft in the air forever like I got stuck on many rides it wasn't a bigg deal
Maybe eventually we will get their Mondial Top Scan if it ever starts breaking down. Lol. Although maybe Mondial finally figured out how to prevent them from breaking down.
