Ridge Racer 7 needs a Sequel 

my biggest peeve with that last "game" is that its more or less a literal "one button game" and not only can you not download it anymore, it also isnt supported on anything even remotely modern now, along with all the other titles on ios and android. namco obviously still cares about it's old IPs (as mentioned, ace combat and tekken) with mentions to Klonoa getting a remaster, we can honestly only hope they'll look back at their console release titles, the modern racing game lineup consisting of mostly only realistic simulation and festival racers, and realise that they're still sitting on a series that hasn't been given any real love by it's parents since 2007. I'd honestly take a remaster that has everything in a single title (dude imagine R4's car lineup and gameplay in r7's fidelity) over anything sony shows. I would legit piss my pants unironically if a trailer began with "Namco Bandai" with car revving sounds in on a stream at this point. my point is that we're all pining for a new entry in the series. The kids yearn for doing spins the wrong way around a hairpin at 320kp/h+.

They don't care about tekken too now ... Just look at the amount of recycled microtransactions in Tekken 8 . 0 work but you have to pay for everything...

the Android "trash" from third party developer isn't even a "trash" game, with wealth of contents. the real "trash" game is the PSVita launch title (dman it's 10+ years ago!) consisting of a few contents taken from RR7 without proper career mode and even then they have to sell some DLC.

especially later ones , with jet engine on the side, like WHAAAAAAAT

Every Ridge Racer game is connected, which is why you have older tracks. Just a shame they had the beginner course of the first game as the finale of this game

Admittedly I actually dismissed R4 back in the Playstation era too, thought it wasn't on par with GT even though I started off gushing over arcade racing games. Boy was I wrong there! R4 and RR7 are both GOAT arcade racers for me!

Nope, 765 is a reference to how "Namco" can be read in goroawase, a common form of Japanese wordplay. 7 = na 6 = mu 5 = ko

@@RebellionMist And! If you're also familiar with the Wangan Midnight series, specifically the Maximum Tune games, your plate will have have a small 765 on it :D

It's also the last one to feature, and maybe the only one, to have a 3D modeled engine from each car. Which also interestingly, each car has like 4 types of engine (standard, extra, oval, and special(?) )

The extra engine is equipped when you do races, whereas the oval engine is equipped when you do the last GP with the oval or when you do time attack (time attack allows you to choose between the two engines). The final category is duel. This is where the special cars reside; making it the fastest category in the game with each car having their own unique engines

Blame it to Bandai. Since the merge of Bandai Namco, Namco is more money chase. Drift Spirits is one of them. Even Project Aces(Ace Combat dev) Having beef with Bandai's higher ups.
