@FieraDevilWings it's also epic in RR6 but in RR7 it's aura sadly was lost after they've added bass cruiser ( of course they're from same factory Danver ) while i prefer hijack to be replaced on the bass cruiser since it gives the feelings of powerful monster machines ^^ Wild Gang is ... i think it'll be funny but as a fast easy to drive micro car is cute ^^
@thegrisha Glad to know it thanks ^^ if it's about the purple car -Wild Gang- it's all about those 2 tricks ^^ do your best on taking the hard turns to cut it at fastest safe speed ^^ about the high jump in it's course try to slowdown a little for not to hit the walls after the jump to keep your speed good ^^ hope it helps ^^
@FieraDevilWings also since they've used the Classic best OSTs + some awesome remixes from it which made it a truly pure Ridge Racer game to cover the whole classic RRs by making them pushed to the limits ^^
@FieraDevilWings well i don't mind to give info while i didn't gave a good notice in these but in RR games they can make any car fastest X) but i'll search for the info ^^ actually ,what i meant by potential is by giving you the feel that it is a fast car without thinking X) anyway if it's in opinions i respect people opinions because if it's what they feel deep inside then i can't deny as much as i do to myself X) i'll see about the info ^^
union hill is an example of what a ridge racer track should be like. Crossbay Tunnel has always been my favorite, but if they were to set this track at night on a game for console, id buy the game and the console, just for that track.
@aliultimate009 - Technically RR3D is almost a mash of RRs2 and RR7, in terms of the mechanics used for Nitrous (special kits + Ultimate Charge) and for the return of many tracks in the series (like RRs2), though there's actually a new one in there (Silver Mountain Skyway) which is damn cool! EX Revolution Road, though... I also like RR3D because it uses the current models of many vehicles from RR7, such as the RC410 (awesome acceleration) and of course ANGL Concept and Crinale.
@aliultimate009 - Do you know what we have that you don't? One of the most broken and easy-to-handle vehicles ever in the RR series, the Kamata RC410. RR7 goodness also graces RR3D with Mist Falls and perhaps its most popular of musics, such as Orbital Rock and Combustion. That's one thing that we have over you guys, updated tracks, decals and of course the latest of machines (I used nothing but the RC410 once I get to Category 3, honestly, it's that good with insane acceleration plus speed)
Oh, and RR3D has something that RRs2 doesn't - ANGL Concept and Crinale in their updated for RR7 forms! That's the only real plus considering why you'd choose RRs2 over RR3D. Though, to be fair, we got the New Rally-X while you got the Danver Hijack which replaced the NRX from the previous RRs, converted to a regular Dynamic machine in RR3D. And it's still the fastest beast in the game.
@aliultimate009 - It's a bit like the 3DS, you gotta see it to believe it. Though you're probably right, the only reason being the framerate - it can lag a bit at times and it's half that of the RRs games on PSP, only because of how much processing power is being input to the 3DS - it has to project two screens for each eye, even more if the afterimages during Nitrous count. PSVita will not disappoint, I'm sure. I would get one for that game, especially for the new Kamata SYNCi revealed.
@aliultimate009 - Nah, it's ok. And I'd say that it is epic in customisation, have to agree with that comment for RR7. I'd say that RR3D made a return to roots of sorts, having four categories and various machines for use with differing speeds, mirroring that of the PSX original with 13 (15 in Revolution) cars with differing stats and four speeds to choose from (those would later become upgraded performance cars, such as the Type-Z being second-highest to the more recent Type-EX)
@aliultimate009 - I propose that you go and perhaps try it a bit, with the 3D enabled Nitrous effects are really something (it gives off an afterimage effect which looks like a 3D error, actually, that's the funny thing) I like the signature machine of RR3D because it's a direction that Namco haven't explored that much in the past, the only other muscle manufacturer being Danver. With Lucky&WILD's Evolver it looks like absolute bulk, but that's true for the Danver Hijack/HJ6000 as well.
By the way, what's your favourite cameo for machine skins (such as the RT Solvalou skin invading one of the later Class machines, in RR3D it's a skin for the Kamata RC410 while the Kamata Fiera got RT Ryukyu (Category 4), Pac Racing Club and the original and best F/A Racing (Category 2) skin!) If you didn't know about them, look out for them - there's bound to be four machines with R4 team skins on them (like Micro Mouse Mappy)!
@aliultimate009 - Perhaps you're thinking due to the acceleration? I'd want to get this game for the Yamasa Raggio, to be honest. Fastest car of the entire game! Ever used/unlocked it? You know, the Honda NSX that got turned into the iconic machine of the PSP games?
@aliultimate009 - Perhaps the point I was trying to get across is that it's a lot brighter on the 3DS, at least to me from what I've seen of both versions mentioned. And by the way, Dreamcast graphics were good! Just look at Daytona USA 2001 (...probably a better example would be a fighting game) As for the vehicle point, it's not all about their looks. Could you give me data on the Soldat Raggio's speeds in the fastest Class/Category/whatever? I'll compare them with the Evolver's.
@FieraDevilWings i'm surprised that you're very directing in it like a real cars X) anyway it's a fantasy game for enjoying racing with high speed drifts - nitro - cars shapes & that's what Ridge Racer -is- awesomely ^^
@FieraDevilWings about RR3D nope didn't played it but saw the gameplay , but to be honest it's an RR game which lost the original fantasy & atmosphere that the RR series had
@FieraDevilWings even if it has X) since the game is better in many ways & it has awesome cars & a big collection of classic OST - same atmosphere & circuits insane Graphics then it's satisfaction to me ^_^
@aliultimate009 - All we hope now is that we can see the return of Soldat Meltfire and Raggio (Face of both RRs games) which got replaced by Lucky&WILD's Wisdom (previously a Lizard machine in Type 4), Eruption and Evolver (the face of RR3D) respectively in functio). Heck, let's see a true duel with them in the next game (Vita) - perhaps I'll get one and you will too, and then we'll race it out with those vehicles (You'd better hope you get good with Dynamic machines).
yes i think X) cause EVEN if you have cheats they can use unlimited nitrous to overtake you X) yes i tried to use cheats against them just to try killing their chances to overtake but they can STILL catch up XD
@aliultimate009 - You must like good control then. The only equivalent I can see in RR3D is the New Rally-X coming from the original RR on PSP, but not even that is accurate as the drifting mechanics is not at all like a Dynamic machine (which I assume is what the Yamasa is).
@FieraDevilWings the best custom RR game in everything from tail wing to the car front bumper is RR7 :3 below it straight are those 3 games ( RR4 - RR6 & RR2 PSP ) ^_^
Ikr, the Wild Gang and the Hijack were very fun cars to race. I even found a glitch with the Wild Gang that may or may not crash your system when you attempt it. try drifting on a crest at EX evolution road's first half in the Terrazi...
May I ask, what's your favourite cars in the Special Category machines, as well as your favourite regular machines to use? Also, can I ask if you've played Ridge Racer 3D yet? It's awesome as hell and Lucky&WILD Motors are essentially the replacement of Soldat if you're used to using that. But not entirely, of course - the Devil still remains in it as the Soldat Crinale!
@aliultimate009 - You know about the age solo PETIT500, right? Also known as the Angelus/Crinale Kid. Smallest and lightest car of the series. And btw, in RR3D the HJ6000 (as the Hijack is now known as) is a freaking REGULAR vehicle from Category 3 onwards, and the fastest normal machine in the game. As for your comments of RR3D, some of the RRs2 music made it in (though the Euphoria track in 3D is actually that of Rave Racer's, not RRV's) while more classic music was put for Disc 4, 5 and 6.
@aliultimate009 - Again, some of the RRs2 music made it in RR3D (such as Rage Racer Remix, LOVE that tune) and some classic tunes not seen in RRs onwards also makes it in (Rave Racer's Euphoria being one), and of course we have 3 discs of 5 tracks full of new music (15 pieces of music in total new). Perhaps even the SP Disc has four new tunes (and like the rest it's unlocked alongside Pac-Man) as well as "Run, Pac-Man, Run!"
@aliultimate009 - I guess that you people don't seem to have been that excited for playing what they had available, though I certainly enjoy it (it's probably the lack of online that turns them off). Epic selection of cars, perhaps this game might not have as much as other recent ones but you've got a brand new selection of 3 cars in RR3D from the new manufacturer Lucky&WILD - Their cars are the Wisdom, Eruption and Evolver (essentially they replace Soldat in a sense)
@meganico98 - Where did you read that paid DLC had come to Ridge Racer for the Vita? Namco have not done stuff like this before and they certainly won't start now given how long the series has gone without NEEDING it!
@aliultimate009 - You can practically say those last few words for any game in the series. After all, most (if not all) include the original track. Why do you think it's lost all its atmosphere, by the way? I personally think it's a very vibrant and bright one (that's the advantage that the graphics in 3D have over s2). Also, battle of two Dynamic vehicles: Soldat Raggio and Lucky&WILD Evolver. You're probably going to go for the more sporty-looking one, aren't you?
in the end, they are DEFINITELY DLCs, which you need to pay for. But still, Devil and Angel return in RR Vita! the Devil care is unlocked in a very sophisticated and intricate way: playing online battles!
@meganico98 - Uh...ever heard of a NEWS update? These "updates" that you think are completely DLC are not that at all...Update =/= Downloadable Content announcement. Excuse me sir but the use of the word "update" in this case is to inform the people of what is new, what has been added, what has been updated. Do you play a lot of Capcom fighting games? That might be where you're gathering this from.
