RIDGE RYDER AWNING TENT PART 1 of 2 - Unbiased review
In this first part of the video review, I show you how easy and practical an awning tent is. We have a close look at this Ridge Ryder awning tent and test it out in a camping trip.
An awning tent is an awesome option for those short camping trips. It is light weight, practical and can easily be setup by one person. It gives you decent living space and very good protection from the elements.
Just like a roof top tent, a disadvantage of an awning tent is that you cannot drive off once you have setup the tent.
I highly recommend considering an awning tent as an option to a roof top tent given that it weighs less, packs away smaller. doesn't consume your entire roof rack or roof tray, and doesn't have the notorious wind drag that the roof top tent gives you.
