that connection popped off for you, well we have the older style with that compression style connector, it held. the cable itself and safety tether did not. the cables gonna be so much tougher to fix than just reconnecting haha. probably why they changed it.
Keep it going Ben, we appreciate it. I use my mini all day every day sometimes 8 times a day lol. We got the one before the true sense. I wonder if it's got 1 safety cable or not
how to know which is the latest model of ridgid ,,, or which one is best or year to buy ,, I want to get me one but I heard that they break very often and repair cost is expensive ,, also I would like the small real 200 ft but not the one with 1/2 inch cable I need 3/8
Spot on. Got a brand new ridgid cs65 and 42348camera. Camera is junk. Cable not stout enough. Our 10 year old cameras still working (they’ve had a few issues but have paid for themselves many times over) Monitor just had to get repaired too.
Glad I found you. I got a kink in my Ridged 100 ft mini just a few inches from the head. Camera has started to flicker. Do you have a video on how to fix it?
Hi, I have a similar problem, but in my model, the screw in which the main cable is sunk is disposable, cold pressed without re-use. Got a way through that way?
Blame it on the rain, it was falling falling.😅 I’m just playing dude. I’m just here researching before I buy one. This is exactly the content I was looking for. Just had to get a little jab in there. I seriously think that tti (Milwaukee), is trying to make rigid into the porter cable of Stanley black and decker.
hey brother would you recommend to buy a gen eye sewer camera are they good,,, got me a ooffer to buy me a geny eye 200ft self level and 512 hz wifi transmitter
Your right 306 brand new flex shaft does not run steady from brand new sent it in for repair said it was fixed paid $500 wasn’t covered under warranty which was about a year and a half hardly used is doing the same thing .
Can anyone recommend me which sewer scope I should be going with? I've been plumbing since I was 14 and I'm tired of calling bigger companies for my drain clog calls. Just looking to do 3" and 4" mostly. Advise is much appreciated!
I use a modified Ridgid mini not available to the public but would recommend a Ridgid mini with CS6X as a solid choice but just remember there's no one size fits all camera. Depends on a lot of factors. Contact your ridgid rep and they will come to you and demo all the cameras to help you pick the camera for your needs.
Great video by any chance do you know a good place where I can fix my ridgid camera im in the l.a area I just had the same problem. Pull the camera back and my screen turn grey.?
I wouldn't recommend for anyone to do that except the factory . The good thing is swapping out a bad camera head takes about 5 minutes and very basic tools
the manufacturers make a point of " built in obsolescence " no good for us, but they just want our money, I bet the designers are told to do this, by the financial department, as there was a time, when quality came first, but now they do not want things to last, they want you to buy more, so that they get more money. plus most Ridgid tools are made in China now. more profit. is there a good alternative ? thanks for putting us in the picture. as they do not highlight there downgrading of quality.in advertisements.
Been excited about seeing them but the #1 reason I stick with ridgid is because parts are easy to get and I live within 1-2 day shipping time from the manufacturer. If Milwaukee builds a parts and service system as extensive as Ridgid's then I'll switch over.
I tried calling the local approved ridgid service center, they refused to sell me anything also, is a distributor different, do you have a number you could pass to me? Currently this moment taking apart my cs10 with broken LCD I'm assuming
@@jonathanyates8414 I'm not sure if a distributor and service center are the same but what you're describing, I'd recommend you send it direct to the manufacture which is SeeScan. 858-244-6689 call them before you ship it and you'll get an RMA #. FYI, being an authorized ridgid repair center does NOT indicate any level of repair quality...just means you took the class and bought a bunch of repair parts and tools. I only send my cameras to SeeScan because the last Authorized Ridgid Repair Service center didn't fix my camera and didn't do a continuity test to check the repair. The "technician" didn't even know what ohms are.
