I like this story, I like main guy HEIJI, he’s kind, bright, a hard worker, adapts well, a bit brave, & has interesting magic skills, and so I hope a Part#2 gets made.
Serve king Baeld and his Minister right 😒 for not appreciating and taking Heiji's skills for granted but Cruel-Chan Filner-San, Suu-Chan and BELPHEVIA-Chan will definitely appreciate Heiji's blacksmith skills even more.🙂 Thank you for another awesome story today MangaCapped and I'm definitely looking forward to Part 2 after that cliffhanger but please keep up the amazing work as always 👍 and have a great day. ☺️🙏
It seems like this a new manga and I could only find it on Mangadex (which wanted to sell it to me). Does anyone else know where the rest of the story can be followed? It seems like fun story.
I’m having trouble finding it is the name really Ossan Yuusha wa Kajiya de Slow Life Hajimemashita? Because a different mango keeps popping up whenever i search up that.
I thought they were going to go the route, He was making S/SS rank knives, pans shovels, ect, and and the villagers had an uprising or defended themselves with Excalibur level house wares
@tchiche9995 lol typical right? Always cinenient they only change to human form after. And 90% of them it's not even a woman looking form but flipping looks like 13 yr old.
He is even acting the same about his knives and swords, saying he is scared to make a really sharp sword and sell it people. what the hell, man? They aren't even trying to hide the stolen material.
Well, since you asked... Aluminum is susceptible to fatigue failure - no matter how thick you make it, it always suffers from fatigue. You know how when you bend a paperclip back and forth over and over, it becomes stiffer and eventually it cracks? That's fatigue. Steel can be designed so it doesn't do that. But it's impossible to do the same with aluminum - it will always eventually crack. (You can push it out to millions of flex cycles before it suffers fatigue failure. But you can't push it out to infinity cycles like you can with steel.) Aluminum (and most metals) are strong enough that in order to actually bend it by hand for use in a bow, you have to make it really thin. But that just makes it more susceptible to fatigue (will begin cracking after fewer cycles). It's why springs are almost universally made of steel. Deformation is handled by stacking up layers of thinner metal. If the layers can slide over each other, then the thinner metal can flex more. e.g. Most commonly used network cables are made of lots of thin strands of copper. You can bend them back and forth without permanently deforming the individual strands of copper wire because they're so thin, and the strands ride past each other when you bend them more than a single thick copper wire could tolerate. They do sell network cable made of a single solid wire, but it will stay kinked if you bend it (permanently deforms). It's designed to be used inside walls and ceilings, where it will never be moved after installation. Anyway, wood and composites like fiberglass or carbon fiber are better choices for a bow because they can tolerate a lot more flex without breaking. If you need it to deliver more power without becoming too bulky, steel would be better. I suppose if you had some weird application where you needed the bow to be stronger than carbon fiber, but lighter than steel, and it'd only be used a few times before disposal, aluminum might work.
@@solandri69 i was actually wondering if its plastic (retains shape after releasing string) or elastic (goes back to original shape after releasing string), but i did not consider breaking becouse of vibration after releasing string Cos more it leans to plastic less energy is transfered to arrow (making it from few use disposable to worthless as bow) and the more elastic it is the more breaking becouse vibration becomes issue (depending on strength/durability of material)
@@algum504 Well, you wouldn't want to design it so drawing the bow puts it into the plastic deformation range. I think what you're getting at is hysteresis. What percentage of the energy you put in when you draw the bow (compress the spring), is returned when released. Unfortunately I never studied the hysteresis of different metals vs wood, so can't help you there.
Yes... The forge boss, the worst immediate leading person/supervisor surely hates or probably envy the protagonist skills. Imagine if he (instead of the usual hiding of his underling's skills) reported that the protagonist can be used as a proper royal blacksmith? The story will be so different.😂😂😅
You know, you would that after years and years of nearly identical Isekai stories, the Japanese public consuming them would've learned not to translate everything in yen. But no. How does that even work, anyway? How do these characters even know that one gold coin is worth 10,000 yen?
Do you think they are calculating off the value of gold In Some Isekai scenarios this doesn't make since if there isn't a "system" of some sort But here he is a blacksmith and must have at least held or seen said currency's at least once
@@maxmovv And I could understand if a blacksmith has the ability to judge the worth of an item in local currency. That's magic or the System or Skill or whatever. But why convert it to Yen? What does it matter? The value of a gold coin is determined by local culture, not some fake valuation. It speaks more to a culture that's so far up its own ass(Japanese) that they can't see anything around them. Hence 99% of all Isekai stories have the character obsessing about recreating Japanese foods. This is especially egregious when the character is reincarnated as a baby and not a direct transfer.
Yes there are many Isrkai stories, but not everyone is reading them or consuming them en masse like you. The use of Yen conversion is a simple solution, like how most things for sale on RU-vid are linked to USD. It's not that deep bro.
@@afroteddybear That doesn't even address my point. Essentially, the response is, storytelling and worldbuilding is hard, so leave 'dem poor kids alone.
Plot twist: the waifu is an illusion and the dragon is still the same original size. When it wears off, the townsfolk will wonder who destroyed their city.
There's a couple different versions of this one. This one where it starts off with a dragon girl and the other one where it starts of with a tiger/cat girl.
45 seconds in, "What on Earth could be going on" Oh... you summoned him to Earth did you? You're not on some other planet but actually Earth. Oh... you are on another planet and your people just randomly say "What on Earth"... cool, gotcha. Moving on.
13:00 dam she shaped like my baby momma 😳😂 whats this manga real name❓ I'm glad my 14yr old daughter put me on to your channel I introduce her to Manga and she loves your channel ❤ much luv from Miami keep it up❤️🔥💯🎯
i know the title is Ossan Yuusha wa Kajiya de slow life Hajimemashita, but where can i read this? i couldnt find what group translated it and on the places i normaly read manga it only goes to roughly 11:20 in the video soooo where can i read this
Yeah I can see why he don't want to make no swords cuz his knives are way too strong and if they may swords is no telling what they would do I mean yeah you can probably use the knives like he used them to fight those Ash wolves but Knives have less range than swords💯
The Pop; Who Used to be the Hero; Started a Slow Life as a Blacksmith • The Old Man; Who Used to be the Hero; Started a Slow Life as a blacksmith Your welcome for name
@Praise_Gibby ill take it turning into woman vs turning into 13 yr old looking kid. But yeah it's weird. If it vould do that you think it'd be walking around in town all the time.
