Jugular John [Hasan Takrouri] All reflectors have a damage threshold, say 60%. Projectiles damage multiplies after each reflect. When the projectiles damage exceeds the threshold, the reflector no longer works. Resulting in big boom

The gordo's damage is influenced partly by its velocity so reflectors like Ness' bat and Joker's Makaracarn that increase projectile speed on top of the damage can ramp it up to instakill levels after a single reflect if it occurs at close range so it connects while traveling at max speed.

I think Gordos don't dissappear when an opponent hits it with any attack because you can't even destroy them in the Kirby games. I guess Sakurai really tries to be too accurate to the source material.

But we need it to have a decent neutral in certain situations. :( We would be even more limited if we couldn't even use our projectile.

@@mastaowen5112 Use it to limit your opponent's options rather than just throwing it at their face every 5 seconds; I find angling it up is the safest bet. Wall them out with aerials. *WE HAVE A GOOD AIR GAME! USE IT!* The gordo is a great tool, especially if you know how to combo into it (throws are great for this). But, because for whatever reason everything reflects it, it's our biggest weakness, outside of being combo food (I really, REALLY hate pikachu, by the way); this is especially true against those with reflects & tons of projectiles. Your inhale is also great in neutral. & Lastly, stay unpredictable.

Because his playstyle is highly aggressive which can leave him open to someone who can get through what he throws out. He can rack up some deadly combos but also get taken for a ride if someone gets through them. (At least if what I've seen is anything to go by.)
