As a lefty, the first listing makes me want, after 48 years of playing, to unlearn how to play left-handed and learn everything all over again right-handed. It's that ugly.
@@RiffsAndBeards I said that it's real. I never once said that it was a prototype, but keep putting words in my mouth to fit your very strange narrative, ryan. You owe that seller an apology for literally trolling him with a segment on this video. Do better.
damn...i've been a fan of your videos for years. but the arrogance and inability to apologize for being wrong is wild. i'll be scrolling past and ignoring anything you post from here on out :/@@RiffsAndBeards
My last Reverb sale was complete BS i am out $600 now... I sold my guitar that i didn't want to sell so i can pay my rent. The guy gets it and says there is a small chip in the paint ( it was from being thrown around in shipping) I paid to ship it and put insurance on it but UPS won't do anything, and best of all REVERB won't do anything but told me to accept the return and refund the guy the money (that i don't have) I am in the negative numbers in the bank so how the F#ck can i return the money i already spent on rent to keep my apartment?! I'm so pissed off. this is the third time i got screwed on a sale that i strictly say NO RETURNS on. The dude gets a full refund and I'm out because of a little paint chip. WOOOPIE!
Thanks, Fluff. You’ve helped me find a few neat guitars now. First the cowhide Gibson Invader and now the burned Les Paul. Never claimed to have good taste
I did happen to get a pussy melter on reverb, I had to buy it quick before it got taken down but it was listed as a kitty melter 😂. Probably paid way too much for it but I actually like it, even though it's probably a tc distortion.
Hey Bruce, why did you make all of these claims about the allegedly fake Sterling/Music Man bass and haven't addressed that the owner debunked you on his Instagram yet? Apparently you left a comment there, then deleted it and blocked him, kinda douchey if you ask me.
@@RiffsAndBeardsexcept it can be and has been proven that they do serialize their prototypes. Why TF can't you just admit you're wrong and say you're sorry dude? Have some damn humility bruh.
That musicman is as legit as they come. For starters it has a legit musicman bridge, tuning machines , neckplate , preamp, pickup, knobs etc. Check the case out - that’s a period correct musicman case as well. Then run the serial number - comes back as a black sterling on the musicman website. You say it’s a Warmoth body ? Warmoth has never made any necks or bodies like that - they also stamp their necks and bodies. Please educate yourself.
I was at the 1991 Winter NAMM show and Roscoe had a booth there, they had a few different "Porno" guitars like this one on display, even back then the general reaction was "WTF????"
the flying V with horns lol.. In the woods posing. lol looked like a cool V guitar... That suddenly shot with an alien animator ray and it sprouted alien tentacle legs and started running down the street
Every once and a while we will hear a normal "next listing". Your from Seattle and in the misic seen. A guy i used to know moved out there like 20 years ago(from Michigan) trying to rock to the top. You ever meet a bass player named Pat Dougherty? Everyone ive ever talk to in the music buss. knows Pat aka Sasquatch
PS: The Barbie guitar is using a Duesenburg (or Duesenburg clone) trem. I have one on a Breedlove Mk II Electric and I love that trem. Not a ton of movement, but great stability.
You are getting roasted all over tiktok and IG. I'm not even for that other guy. I would suggest you apologize before it gets out of control. if not whatever, idc . I just felt your reputation shouldn't be trashed on other platforms. Peace im out, take care
@@RiffsAndBeardsMy dad works at Nintendo ass comment. You can't substanciate that claim and even if you could, how in the fuck can you prove that he would've been the one to make it? Do you know how unrealistic tracking down someone like that would even be? Bro's getting delusional I stg
@@DrippyAppaOfficial why do you care so much with your "gets no attention and has to troll the internet like "Achktchually" looking ass?" Weird energy for sure!
i really like the style of that paulina guitar aside from the act in the graphic. love a cream/off white guitar and the artist actually seemed talented
Re: The Pink polka dot mini Explorer. The machine heads and bridge look like they're made by Guyker as well as the bridge which is a Guyker knockoff of the a Duesemberg "Les Trem" bridge, and allegedly it works well. The Guyker aftermarket products seem to have a decent reputation in the affordable guitar hardware realm.
Fifteen THOUSAND dollars for a five hundred dollar guitar and a custom airbrush design by a no name artist, that you can't really play in public.RIDICULOUS. If the airbrush is not a graphic. Still ridiculous.
After almost a year searching DAILY for a 88-89 fender hm strat ice blue with a maple neck. I found one last week and bought it instantly. I’m an avid collector and that was the last one I needed!!
Ernie Ball music man guitars are something today, anyway. Everything made by them in the U.S pickups and hardware. Today music man is putting out a true American made guitar if that matters to you. But I've been a Gibson flying v guy for almost forty five years. And no, I will not change. Love these ridiculous reverb listings you do, very redickulass😂.
Wow, I definitely appreciate the pink polka dot explorer(ish) build. As ridiculous as it is I can't call it an ugly (re)build. If I was a girl I would love to have it and would play the hell out of it. Honestly I dislike the headstock much more than the color combo.
@RiffsAndBeards Can you Please tell me the source/origin story of your background music you usually use. i thought it was the Mii music from the Mii avatar room in Wii, but no. Asked on FB but didn't hear back :-(( Great series, always watch 'em! I tried to get the Joe Satriani amp you covered but it dropped from 5k to 3k and sold instantly. DAMMIT
