This was a demo only. You don’t mount the two devices in the same plane. Put one over the other.

Having the flir in front of the radar dome doesn’t cause any radar issues?

Hi. Maybe you can help me. I just installed my FLIR 364C today with Garmin MFD’s and I used the Ethernet câble only and not the BNC cable. I can only see the day light camera but the thermal is not available. There’s no way to toggle between day light camera and IR. I connected the camera to a laptop computer and went through the parameters. On the computer the toggle button appears but the IR remains black with « no video » notice. Any idea of what’s happening? I see in your video that you installed only two cables, power and Ethernet. So it should work without BNC cable. Correct? I précise that I don’t have the JCU yet due to shortage at the supplier. So I can’t try the toggle button on the joystick. Thanks for reading this long message to the end.

Does this camera work with B&G Zeus systems? If so do I need a seperate controller?

Do you put the camera on an on/off switch, or just wire it with a fuse?

The camera is fused and there is an app on the Raymarine screens that control its power/control functions.

Thanks for the info. I am adding flir to my Garmin system and not sure wether to run it through an on/off switch or not. I imagine Garmin is different than the raymarine gear

@@maxxmironov You’ll probably want to run it to a toggle switch just in case. Raymarine is owned by FLIR and they operate very cohesively, but a toggle switch is certainly a definitive closure that most people like.

Thanks for the tip! Ordered a bocatech resettable 5A button switch for it today.
