Let’s see some career-orientated EDCs. Being a mechanic, my EDC has some work patina that’s got some character to it! I would love to see what other mechanics and techs carry around with them and it might inspire some more gear for me to carry around 🧰 much love brother 🤙🏽
I’d love to see a video series on how people use their edc. Having and showing off edc gear is always cool, but even cooler is when you have a story about how that edc item “saved the day” in any capacity.
Not sure if you will ever see this but here’s one for you! My first ever flashlight I bought for edc saved the day on a boat one night going around the island I lived on. One day after going to the beach I got a call from my friend asking me if I wanted to go on his boat (he’s the type of friend that something normally goes wrong so I brought my edc). So I get on the boat and we are putting around then it starts to get dark, we find out that the indicator light on the front of the boat isn’t working and it’s a wiring issue. I pulled out my flash light and it just fit inside the housing of the light! (It was extremely dark by this time trying to fix the wiring). I had to buy a new flash light after because I never got it back 😂
I’d love to see a “Formal Carry” EDC! What we carry when were NOT at work but at a classier environment. I know i carry a prettier non-scary looking knife and a nicer watch and i ditch my Leatherman PS4 Squirt and light for a Victorinox midnight minichamp, gerber EAB money clip and swap out my iphone battery case for a nice Platinum leather case with card slots from BestBuy. Swap the space pen for a more classier fullsize clicker with a moleskin instead of a rite n rain trayvax summit notebook. This could be super interesting to see what everyone else swaps out for and what they consider “fancy” thanks!
I would love to see more with Rick: Modding/Fabricating EDC gear, working on projects, and more with working on your camping gear! You guys are so much fun together!
I would like to see a video of “your first edc” or “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” because so many in this community probably don’t have their first items anymore. I know part of the fun is trading or upgrading but I’m a minimalist in the sense that I find one thing I like, buy that, and don’t change it. I’d be curious to see how many of us actually still have their original items.
I'd love to see more of the customising gear and semi DIY videos ( like the lanyard tieing video ). Also thanks for the blade centring video, that helped me out a bunch!
I honestly would love to see the whole “executive” carry thing. Like more classy that you could bring to the office and church. That kinda thing. But anyways just wanted to thank you for making awesome videos and making me look forward to that post notification😂
For me personally I think it would be interesting to see carries for different activities or jobs. What you carry depends on what you do every day. You may be able to see what people and yourself would carry while camping, fishing, or hiking. On the job aspect you can see what people in different careers carry. An office worker, a mechanic, and an electrician may carry different gear and for different reasons. At the end of the day you should make videos on topics and ideas you enjoy, have some fun looking and maybe learning about a few different things.
Would love to see “ blue-collar” themed video. Farmers, mechanics, etc. And I think it would be cool to see your all out, no budget, grail carry. Keep up the great work 👌
Just getting into EDC I had no idea it was even a thing. Mine all started with a pocket notebook from log and jotter and I just continue to become more and more interested. Thanks for your content!!
I would love to see a “day in the life of Taylor Martin” where we see how you use your edc and also some behind the scene of the work you do. Thanks for all the great content!!
When he said “I’m gonna start saying no” to people asking for his stuff, I laughed so hard, because I’ve done it to mess with people in my family who make fun of me all the time
The power goes out in our house all the time. My son and I play shadow puppets for hours. He’s almost 4. I just got him his first all wooden folding knife from CRKT. It’s so cool and he carries it bulging out of his front little pocket. Kids are the best! Thanks for sharing the updates with Elenor.
Working men do not abuse their EDC tools. Lots of $30 MiUSA Buck 110s or Case bone handle knives used daily by working men. Lot's of Seiko 5s, cheap wallet from the Christmas/Father's day pile, $80 Streamlights. That is a solid "working man's" EDC under $300 and the knife and the watch you don't ever have to buy again.
I've put ZT0350, Leatherman Wave and Rebar through construction and welding shop use. They're not super-high end, but they're well into the realm of paying for quality, and they've all stood up well.
working man edc for me is a pokka pen, my flip phone and a leatherman k2. I actually use them daily and they dont just sit there and look pretty on instagram
I like looking at EDC pics from viewers. I do like your comments on their costs. I like seeing your own EDC carry and where you store extra gear or what you put in your bags!
Love to see “water bottles” & “bags” to enter the edc show since hydration is really important and cool bottles matches with your other items are awesome and bags, simply because some people carry them all they to work or gym etc. Love the videos by the way, they give me extra ideas about my edc which is awesome imo. Love from Turkey ❤️
I really enjoy your channel! Very informative, and it gives me great suggestions for customers at the store where I work. I had a great chat with a customer today, and recommended your channel to him. Anyhow, thanks again for producing such a fantastic channel.
This woman’s EDC today is an R2D2 knife, timex exped, home made slim wallet made from origami waterproof map, Fisher bullet pen, Liberty hank, olight i3e eos, Victorinox classic sd, NiteIze doohickey. All that in jeans pockets (5.11 Wildcat pants). In jacket pocket altoids tin is Gerber dime, chapstick, cr123 flahshlight I can’t remember the name and some other stuff.
I'd love to see a video tailored towards slimmer people and/or women talking about minimalistic EDCs. For example, do you really need to carry a flashlight if you always have your phone on you? Or what about folders if you already carry a multi tool?
The only thing that i want to see you just did it in this video, an affordable edc and i love it . Im just starting in this edc lifestyle and i really love an edc that i can aford and to get started with. I will love a video of an EDC for biginners or the first things you need for starting your edc. Thanks and keep it going saludos from Puerto Rico
Haven't watched your watched you for about a year ,you have really stepped up on your watch knowledge &game.I am impressed.Like that your wearing a Oris watch.Nice.
How about an actual “edc” video. Not pretty stuff. Just guys who are still carrying dads or grandpas knife everyday or stuff that has served them well for years.
Heavily used EDC and pocket dumps. I enjoy pocket dumps to see what changes as time goes on, but I also like seeing how your EDC itself changes with time. I don't knock the EDC community. I started out not really understanding the draw, but seeing the passion people can throw into it, I really appreciate that. We all have our own hobbies, enjoy them the way you want to.
I'd love to see more budget carry videos like this one. I prefeer this videos because they're more entertaining and not everyone can afford even a 200 dollars EDC setup. Love your videos by the way. Keep it up man🔥
Honestly bro just more of the same good stuff. Product recommendations and pros and cons of the stuff you’ve tried and carried, especially long term. Just discovered your channel for the first time a couple of days ago and finding it super useful. Looking forward to putting together my very first EDC whoop whoop
I think it would be really interesting to see peoples sentimental edc carries. I would imagine that it will be more knives than anything but to see a knife that has a history behind it would be very interesting. Thank you for the opportunity to win this prize.
This is the first vid I've seen so I'm not sure if you've made these videos already. A prybar/usage video, a lanyard video and a hunting/fishing/outdoor use video. Thank you, excited to explore this channel!
I am a sucker for the videos that have EDC that aren't the standard items i.e. knives, watches, wallets, flashlights, but instead, the cool useful gadgets that really add something new to my EDC (loved the belt attachment to hook your keys I saw in a video and went and got one!)
Not sure how much content there is left to do on the customization of edc gear but maybe updates on customized gear or even a customization do and don’t video. Love what you do and lets keep jeweling our pockets!
Hey Taylor awesome job I really enjoy your reviews and the overall aesthetic of the channel! I would love to see some EDC videos focused on leisure activities such as sailing, camping, hiking, trekking, etc. I think it would be pretty cool and you could also have guest in the specific areas in your videos and maybe through an interview format build the perfect EDC for such activities. Love the content, keep the awesome job pal!!
Love your work! I'd like to see a 'best in class' list of items. Not the most expensive or prettiest, but the most practical, most often used because they just work every time.
What i would like to see on the channel is more of everything.... more Watches, More lights, More whiskey/bourbon/scotch. This channel got me into EDC stuff and I dig every video
I always like to see budget gear setups and reviews. Budget gear is great and it's good to know when there's inexpensive stuff that's actually durable and worth it.
Given that winter is coming, I'd love to see a snowboard/ski EDC. Working as a ski/board instructor last year, I learned about a bunch of useful things to have on you while on the snow.
I’d love to see a camping essentials. As someone’s who’s never had a fatherly figure that would take us camping and have always wanted to camp I’d love to see your take on some essentials
First timer on your channel, looking forward to watching more videos.. I have no suggestions, just learning more about edc and I appreciate your videos🤙
Hey Taylor. I always love to see the "Best Amazon carry under $XXX" I especially like to watch the whole process of going back and forth deciding which items go best to meet the need under budget in the cart.
PLEASE DO MORE "Everyday Carry on X Budget" videos!! Those are the absolute best!! (could put a spin on the challenge and do Cabela's, or make it difficult and do a grocery store!!! I know my Kroger carries knives and some other stuff) Love your videos man!!
I would love to see more interviews with independent makers - their manufacturing process, design inspirations, how they got into it, etc. And I'm not just talking about knives, but also hanks or edc wallets, or lanyards, etc.
an evolution of everyone's ECD would be sweet! The first photo is what you started out with and the second photo is what you currently have. They could explain why they upgraded and where they are currently at with their ECD.
I would dig a video of you testing some of the products and some EDC for some what specific professions or hobbies like hunting or camping. For those who like to carry tools that are more tailored to them. Thank you for these awesome vids!
I’d have to watch more vids to make sure my idea hasn’t been done but an EP of bottom budget EDC knifes would be good. Like a top 10 $50 and under, this vid did have a few good ones. I’m going to check out the QSP Penguin now :-)
I would love to see a video for what to look for when getting into EDC. How to tell quality equipment from cheap. Just things to know before/when starting your first EDC
Have carried a knife and/or multi tool for years. Also carry flashlight often. Have had emergency pack in vehicle for 20+ years. Just getting into carrying EDC belt pouch. Just found your video and subscribed to your channel.
I’d love to see a video where you choose 1 or 2 of your favorite item from each category of EDC; like flashlights, folding knives, fixed blades, utility blades, pry bars, key organizers, etc. etc.
I am 55 years old. My edc consists of a Buck 110 on my Belt. A Timex Expedition on my wrist. In a DYI leather organizer I have a Zebra (BULLET PROOF) F701 pen, O Light flashlight, and a Boker Trapper slip joint pocket knife. Walmart special minimal thin leather wallet. Sometimes a Zippo lighter and a compass around my neck when heading into the woods hunting or on a hike.
Good video man. Always enjoy watching One small correction to this video. The penguin runs on phosphorus bronze washers not bearings which is why I chose it over the elementum
Love the budget options, really cool especially for us in South Africa where everything is so expensive, would love to see more budget item videos, and especially items available internationally. Thanks a lot, love the videos.
I’d love to understand your thought process each morning when you choose your EDC. Mine is literally an EDC in that I carry exactly the same thing every day. I found what works for me and don’t stray from it, but I watch your channel because it provides the variety that my carry is lacking. Understanding how/why you come up with that variety would be interesting.
As someone who is just getting into EDC, I would love to see more watch/ wrist EDC. Also, definitely recommend (if you haven’t) checking out the leatherman Tread LT.
Being retired and on a fixed income, I like to see EDC in the affordable, not cheap, universe. Also, being a veteran (664-66), I like to see military derivations. Finally, being older than dirt, I like traditional items. BTW, my EDC knife is also a Civivi, a Wyvern.
I know people have been saying themed gear, so I’m going to work off that. I was out in the woods hunting today and I was curious what other people carry when they go out in the woods to deer hunt. It also had me thinking what you would recommend someone to have for their hunting season EDC.
Great content! Love your channel. I like when you force yourself out of your box to discover new things, like finding an edc kit under $100 or trying out new gear. Nice work, keep it up!
Love the channel. I'd like to see a dirt cheap but still good EDC carry set up. Bottom of the barrel in price but still good such as Ganzo Knives, Perman Mini flashlight, Leatherman Wingman, etc. Expensive and budget carry is easy to figure out. Dirt cheap but still good is a challenge!
Just like I’m sure you hear 100x I just love to see budget edcs and stuff that is good value for my money. I love the Amazon shopping videos you’ve done it would be cool to see you build different edcs from different places or different ways you can limit and “challenge” yourself to see what kind of unique and interesting edcs you can come up with.
Love the content all round. Ladies EDC or comparing a high end product to a affordable option close to it. Gives one a good idea on upgrades or alternatives on you current EDC.
I'd love to see bushcraft EDC's. I know not a lot of people that watch your videos are bushcrafter's, but I would still love to see what some of the bushcraft people carry
I love budget gear, I have some mid-range (Spiderco, benchmade, we and more) gear that I carry on a regular basis but some time i use my sanrenmum 763, I love the bottle opener, and to be honest with you it does the job as a cutting tool.
A snapshot of what your days looks like using each of your EDC items. You could do a serious. A “normal” day (around the office), a “camping” day, a “travel” day, etc. Something to show actual use and decision making on what to carry for specific situations.
would love to see (as a South African subscriber) an international themed EDC weekly 🤘🏾 would probably give a unique perspective. thanks for the stellar content 🖤
I am very late to this video. I love seeing the variety you have. I am on a budget EDC kit myself, I just started. Looking forward to catching up on you content.
I think a “vlog” style video showing how you use/carry YOUR specific EDC. I know you’ve talked about “I wear this on my right front pocket and use it for ABC” but showing the practicality would be interesting.
