The fact that pavlin made this series watchable is worthy of an oscar or some miracle workers award, i have watched at least the last 10 videos of this series and the only thing that makes me watch them(besides supporting the channel)is how incredibly grey and rough the Russian country is. If the rumors are true that they drink a lot i REALLY understand! it's like living in a coalmine, the big cities look great(like magadan) but on the countryside it looks awful, i guess most viewers watch ithy boots and even africa looks better. I really feel bad for the russian people growing up in this! I'm not sure if the fact Pavlin grew up in eastern Europe makes him feel more at home but to a scandinavian this is a third world country without the great nature.. (i have not watched the entire series so if there is something i missed in the beginning i apologize) Keep up the good work Pavlin!

I Have Watched Every Episode That Has Popped Up & The Vastness Is Mind Boggling! Depending On The Sole , Perspectives Are Much Different. I had always chosen living in a very rural area on purpose, even though I had to be in and pass through the cities & ports for work. Was happy to think ,let the city slickers live in the city. I’ve been all over the North West Corner Of The U.S. & Canadian Provinces & What Pavlin Has Showed Us Is Staggering. Look Forward To My Retirement & Getting Acquainted & Lost in all the Forests In North America. When I’m sitting still I Live Vicariously through people like Pavlin. It keeps the furnace stoked.

Hi Pavlin, that picture with the sunrise and the river is amazing... Almost untouched nature. The music that would fit this image is 'Morning had broken' from Cat Stevens. You are probably one of the last motorcyclists who were able to go almost all the way from Irkutsk to Magadan on gravel roads. Looks like the roads are getting covered with black top very rapidly. You have 'enjoyed' (sort of) the dust while it was still there. The challenging and adventure side of riding on those dusty roads will be gone very soon. Thanks for sharing those amazing moments on that Russian trip!

Thanks for sharing Pavlin. I can't get over the fact, that there are persons working in a hotel who are not letting someone stay because of his passport or missing documentation.

A little bit of explanation for you. In the context of Russia a Russian passport refers to the national identity card. The word 'passport' is from Soviet Union times where national identity was required to travel since many areas were of military importance and hence not open to the public and many spies were active during those times especially at the beginning of the establishment of the Soviet Union, during the civil war against the whites (fascists and Royalists) and immediately after. Russian passport refers to that ID document. It also prevents illegal immigrants or escaped criminals from obtaining shelter. The passport that we in the West and other countries refer to is the international travel document. This document in Russia is known as International Passport. The case that you say sounds strange is not at all different from the UK where hotels etc refuse to provide a room if you do not have any valid document which permits you to be in the country legally.

@@kukmica6422 I fully agree with you. In Russia and some other countries of the former Soviet Union, they require the national identity documents. Some places may let you stay while others who may have had problems in the past will refuse. I can see their point and it is a hassle for the traveller, however, those establishments probably do not get many tourists or foreigners to make it woth their while to upgrade their system. I speak from experience as I have travelled to Russia 14 times.

Russia is vast and beautiful. I have to congratulate the administration in Moscow for taking care of the roads, infrastructure and supply chains which isn't easy on such a big territory . Even becoming fan of V.Putin . Thanks for the upload and the journey we are able to make with you.

Don't know about your age mate but I am an old motorcyclist (69) still riding and that's why I am here and admire all Pavlin's uploads. On the other hand I am business wise connected to Russia and travel 2 or 3 times annualy to Russia and to very different places. Contact with a lot of Russian people to form me an opinion. Others may have their own especially in times of war but that's how the world is shaped. Russia was down to it knees at the fall of the SU and of course it did not went the way "the West" wanted it to go. We just need to understand the disappointment behind Victoria Nuland's statement:"That's not the Russia we wanted" I do understand that Nuland would loved to have a "puppet regime" who would have opened ALL of Russia's resources to the vultures of Wall Street. Hence the Maidan Coup 2014 in Ukraine and NATO expansion as the preparation to take matters over in Russia ,too. All was a miscalculation by "the West" and that's the reason for all the Western Media to be involved in acts of propaganda against Russia. Again, I am educated enough,old enough and have first hand information about Russia which leads me NOT to follow the current Russophobia and imbecile comments about Vladimir Putin. Out of respect for the author of this site, I will not even bother to comment further on this subject. Hi Pavlin, great journey and filming as usual. A few questions: What camera are you using? What capacity SD card are you using? What fps settings are you using? How many SD cards do you use before copying the contents onto a storage device/computer and reusing them?

I used GoPro Hero 7 Cards 32GB 50fps Settings auto I don't have a storage device, kept the footage on the SD cards, I had around 20x32GB 2x128GB and 3x64GB
