Portable train and extremely easy to maintain, with a spare belt, an extra tank of gas, it probably could go a few hundred kilometers non-stop. And if a head-on train is coming , the worst case scenario is just jump and no one will get severely injured😅
If You see at the beginning of the video 0:06 just a Freight Train has passed before they start the journey, that freight trains seems to be very slow and they sure take hours to cover all the line and it is a single rail, so at least they have some hours before this or other train goes back on the same line...
I rode a bamboo train (known as a Norry in Cambodia) in 2019. They stop at a small village for tourists to buy souvenirs/food and drink, then return about 15 mins later. Whilst we were at the village, a large freight train came through slowly - blowing its horn well in advance to give the guys time to remove their Norrys from the track. All of the Norrys at the village were already off the tracks, ready for the return trip.
It's in Battambang province. It costs 2.5$ each person for a ride. I don't know if they count hours or what because I never experienced myself. But maybe some day.
In Germany, such a thing fails due to bureaucratic barriers. The money they have available without credit and state aid is exactly enough for this offer.
Bersyukur di Indonesia angkutan umum sdh ada di mana-2, ada kereta api, bis, kapal laut, pesawat, dll. Jadi pilihannya banyak dan gak harus susah payah kaya gini klo buat bepergian. Ga kebayang klo di Indonesia yang populasinya udh banyak harus naik transportasi model beginian cuma buat bepergian jarak 10 atau 20 kilometer?

Getting the welds balanced properly would be my OCD...aint doing any extra vibrations... and some type of rubber bushings for those rails the motor slides in..

Terkadsng jadwal kereta juga sering berubah mendadak karena satu dan lain hal, tetapi masuk akal jadwal keretsnya agsk jarsng dibanding jadwal kereta di Jawa Indonesia atau di India ysng jadwal ksretsnya ssngat padst...termasuk di Daerah sekalipun..
