This video is a detailed vlog of our ride to experience snow from Assam Bikers camping site Sangti Valley earlier in January 2017. We were riding in roads full of snow for hours and conquered sela pass at -15 degrees of temperature.

That was was a risky ride on the icy roads. It's so easy slip if you are not careful and I know how cold your hands get, especially while riding. Glad you are safe.

wow brother. that's a great achievement in itself. 1 thing I would like to correct. in the initial part you mentioned it was snow fall during night & ur bikes had full of it. but that is not as a result of snow fall. that was dewdrops/fogdrops, frozen due to the chilli weather of night. normally referred as "pala" in HP & UK Himalayan region.

Pulsar 220 ? How could you ride? But I did with Avenger 220. I reached Tawang from Guwahati in day (18hrs). It was amazing.

Amazing video. Bravo. But it's unsafe to ride motorcycles on such icy roads. I'm in Chicago area and I even scared to drive the car on icy roads. I think one should be careful. One mistake and you are down the hill. I appreciate your courage. North East India is beautiful. Maybe more and more people visit North East India and it will develop more as a tourist place.

Where do you get permits (for bike and person) to enter. Can we get that on border where Arunachal Pradesh starts? Really like your channel, I want to explore North East too. Only been to Sikkim till now. I am from Mumbai.

+One More Ride There are only check gate at Bhalukpong, Assam - Arunachal border that we found. U have to make Inner Line Permits which can be done in Guwahati or on the border gate itself.

East Indian Explorer try to idle when u start ur engine in cold weather....it helps to lubricate ur engine....and if u start accelerating then engine myt not get properly lubricated due to cold weather and cold engine oil thats y...juat start ur bike and keep it on for 3 or 4 mins...den start ryding

+Nivedita Singh it's a bit unsafe I agree but times are changing now. I see women doing all india motorcycle roadtrips on their own. If you like travelling, I suggest to do as much as you can. If not alone, you can do it with your partner anyway. Having that kick is important which I get through travelling.
