I enjoy your Chicago hood eats episodes I’ve watched them all. I’m 54 yrs old and was born and raised in Chicago on the Southside starting in Roseland in the 60’s and 70’s, Mount Greenwood and Beverly in the 80’s and 90’s. I’m still living in the Chicagoland area hidden in the safe suburbs 35 miles away these days. Growing up my father had a small construction business that majority of his work was in all the ghettos of Chicago which I learned a lot at a young age about humanity and street smarts. I can’t imagine nowadays in these neighborhoods that it can be safe for you but I gotta hand it to ya! You got big balls! Back in the day the gangs were always there but there was structure back then and it was a bit more controlled chaos than it is today. All I can say is,,,,” Be safe” out there and keep your military skills sharp to protect yourself. To be honest I’m not a huge fan of your group stunt rides on a motorcycle, probably because I’m an old fart that rides Beemers and Triumphs don’t hate me for that ok. I currently own 5 motorcycles, 3 BMW GS Adventures, Triumph Scrambler XE and a Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer and they are all ready to ride when I call on them to go. My 2012 BMW GSA currently has 115,000 miles on it and I’ve owned it from brand new, just a loyal motorcycle!! I wanted to put this out there for you, I really enjoyed your episode when you rode the Harley back from Alabama. I think if you do more of that content and stories to go along with it perhaps RU-vid will favor your content more? Every year I do this trip in the fall, I circle Lake Michigan on any one of my motorcycles usually moto-camping all the way around. It’s the only Great Lake the United States own and it’s about 1000 miles around if you ride into Door Country,Wisconsin a bit. I’ve done two Iron Butt’s on my 2012 BMW GSA 1200 around Lake Michigan. If you don’t know what that is, it’s 1000 miles riding a motorcycle in less than 24 hrs, maybe that can be RU-vid content for you? It will tax you physically and mentally kinda like riding through the Chi-Town hoods, LOL. I’ve done this trip so many times and I always find something new to see or do all the time. I believe the both of us have an extreme love for the two wheel adventure going to bed dreaming about them all the time. Keep up the good work exposing the motorbike so the sport doesn’t peater out. I sometimes ride a motorcycle into Chicago to indulge in their mighty fine mom and pop Java shops and roasters maybe I’ll meet up with you to tip a cup and tell stories. Stay safe! Wear your gear! Keep your head on a swivel in those hoods and enjoy the two wheel pleasures.

Its funny you mention the brick foundation of the alleys. I was in Chicago not to long ago and was amazed how underneath the pavement is beautifully laid brick and some guy taking his trash out was making fun of me saying "its not that cool" haha
