I was able to return to Japan recently and I didn't want to go back to Spain without first taking a night trip on the Sunrise Seto, on which I had traveled on a previous visit to Japan... And, again, I was amazed by the entrance of the train into the platform. It seems like a social phenomenon, with people taking photos and recording videos with their smartphones, as if it were something never seen before. I love that relationship of the Japanese with their vehicles of public transport; in how they see off the ferries from the port, when passing through a bridge, the people who pass through it, greet the passage of the ship, they see off the train at each station... They treat these large vehicles and their occupants as if they were beings loved ones going on a trip... I love it.

I was worried when Solo-san decided to do a room tour instead of queuing for the shower card like he usually does in previous Sunrise train trips. Luckily he found that old shower card. Usually Solo-san buys 2 meals before hand. One for dinner, one for breakfast. It’s odd that he had to leave the train temporarily to buy the elusive breakfast this time.
