I think Kyle's bike could really benefit from some 26" wheels if they can fit. Based on your expreance with the Boostmonster, it seemed like 26" worked better than the 24". I bet some fresh rubbber would go a long way too.

Im really grateful for modern wheel sizes. Cant imagine doing this on 26' and lower size wheels.

26" is pretty similar to 27.5 though, it doesn't make much difference, I think speed is the biggest advantage to bigger wheels

That bike is a holy grail, I don't think Kyle should be riding that bike that hard, especially with those components there are getting expensive due to their rareness and age. They suffer a lot on those kinds of rides, poor Gazzaloddi 😢

We all have fond memories of the Karpiel Armageddon....especially if you were "there". But if we told the truth? They are just POS relics of the past in todays world. I still drool over many of these vintage bikes but I would never want to ride or own any of them.
