Thank you so much for this information. I am a single lady and love to learn how to fix my mowers. Your video was fantastic because I could see clearly everything you did!!
T-Bone, this video showed up in my feed. Thanks for the part number info on the shut-off and in-line filter. Im ordering them with new fuel line and start with new on 10 and 15 year old riders. Thanks.
First time I've watched one of your videos. I have an LT3000 of that vintage. I've fixed other issues, but this is good info that I haven't seen others cover. Thanks!
ha....I spied the plugged vent early on...mainly because I've seen this a lot! Props for taking time to address this problem completely and correctly though.
Glad I found your channel. To the point and easy to watch, PLUS who wouldn't want the Mrs. to bring them a Tuna sandwich for lunch (mine does lunch too). Thank you.
Great info! Also Mrs T knows the two most important rules to enjoying a good sandwich; #1, have someone else make the sandwich and #2, add lettuce… instant gourmet!!!
Hoping you can help me here. Bought a craftsman mower off friend. Ran fine but rough. Brought home, removed the mower deck to install the snow plow attachment. When I removed the deck I thought it easier to remove the blade engagement cable from under the hood where it connects to the engagement arm. The thinking was that it seemed easier that removing the cable and spring where it attaches to the mower deck. Long story short, did full tune-up (oil, spark plug, air filter, replaced fuse - though the old one had no break, etc.) Problem: sit on seat, engage parking brake, turn key.... no click, no sound at all. Brand new battery tested with multi-meter. Haven't tried installing the mower deck back in and installing the engagement cable but going from working to nothing is disturbing. Is the clutch/blade engagement cable have some safety sensor or something that tells the engine not to start if that is not installed. Basically the blade engagement arm is free-floating. I want to reinstall the mower deck and cable to test but just haven't had time to do it yet. Thought your experience might be able to provide me some insight. Thank you!😊
Awesome video. Thank You Sooo Very Much for the information in this video. i just subscribed to your channel and hit the bell thing too. i always put a fuel shut off valve on any ride on mowers that i get/own. i will be using a paper fuel filter from now on. i Realy look forward to your next video. :) :)
Nice job T-Bone and it sure was sweet of Mrs T-Bone to hook you up with that tasty looking tuna sammich. 🙂👍🏼 I'll have to check out that Roosty Ruster's channel, thanks bud.
I have a question for you T-bone i have a cub cadet riding mower after i cut my back yard i got to the front i disengage the blades put it in neutral put the brake on and as I'm opening the gate it will shut off and it should stay running but it does not. Any Ideas.
Hey T-bone I see you have an HC 1500 on the other table I’m looking for a coil modular they’re all discontinued its parts stores just wondering if you might have a spare from some old junker
I have a briggs. It starts everytime its 1 year old. So I was cutting grass for 2 passes then it died And it will not start back I have spark I've tested the coil and all ive check all switches for continuity everything checks out good. All lines good wires to. I adjusted valves . Even a new spark plug clean the carb ... checked head gasket. I've done everything there is humanly possible and this dang thing still won't start .. it has compression then stalls like the valves out of adjustment but I adjusted em correctly. Pulled the plug turns over fine. . The compression relief is working checked it to. I am baffled here
My dad's tractor just started cutting off when it gets hot, I went to check it out and now it smokes like a train and shuts off after 5 sec. Restarts and does the same again. Lots of oil leaked out of the muffler. I'm thinking I need to replace the head gaskets! Husqvarna yth22v46
The ones I use come from Rotary Corp., you have to be a dealer to buy them. Check with a local small engine shop near you, all of us use Rotary products. The Rotary part #10352.
