john, i've noticed a few videos you've gotten flat tires. we ride throughout detroit over here and in our backpacks we always keep a battery pack and a tire inflator incase we run over something or have pressure loss from beads coming unsealed from tires froom jumps. its saved me a few times in the east side and brightmoor parts of detroit. i understand the climate there is definetly warmed so you'd have to find a battery pack that doesnt explode if it sits inside your pack on those 100 degree days, but its seriously something to consider. these neighborhoods you roll through are no joke, and we as viewers want you to be as safe and prepared as possible. love from detroit brother! keep riding!
From my understanding as a long time LB area resident, the Eastside was coined because it was east of the LA river, this was before the burbs in East LB (by the 605/San Gabriel river) were developed around the WW2 era.
I love your videos John it makes me want a surron so bad im 59 yrs old i think it would bring my youth back lol......😂😂.....Stay Up, Hard, and Free brother......🔥🔥❤️💯

Thanks for the video tours. I lived across slauson in south la then I moved to paramount in my twenties. I can’t afford the gas money to go cruising so this is cool to watch.
Always dope being from Long Beach to see Long Beach on RU-vid. I’m from the west side. Santa Fe and willow! But live in San Diego now! This video was dope man. Always happy to see my city! Graduated from poly in 06! Love that you cruised back in the hood bro!
I used to watch this guy like 6 years ago heavy, back when chomo22 was big on bmx still. Glad you doin ur thang man! Them e bikes are cool man but I like the sound of gas motors lol
At 36.43 you rode in the alley right behind my pad. I'm the only white boy on my street...that park is like 6 years old but since COVID became a tweaker encampment. Nice little bike path though 😊
In nineteen eighty five as an 18-year-old kid, I used to chase parts for my dad's dredging company. We Lived 9 hours North around the Sacramento area, And we Went down for a job and worked in Newport Beach. I Would drive up to Long Beach to get parts. I remember cherry street the most, It was crazy down there, I did 3 hit and runs in 1 week In my dad's company pick up, ha ha. I kept saying to myself, I wonder if You were going to mention cherry street, and sure enough you didn't fail me. Thanks for the run down memory lane!!!
That skate park ride looked like fun! Wish i lived in a areas like this, some city/urban life. I live in small city in CO, kinda rural and spread out. Gotta stick with 2 wheeled petrol machine
great video of LB. what are the chances you're into riding PCH? show us some beauty in an ugly world. Venice Beach would be cool as well. Ride down to DDE's new HQ, which coincidently is Hoonigans old building
where you hopped onto at 1:52 were those considered front of a house? I was born in la county, lived in redondo beach utnil I was 6 years old (34 now) and if that is actually the front of a house that has a alleyway right outside of it, that's interesting..
You should consider producing a series of videos highlighting the vibrant communities of Long Beach, Carson, Cerritos, West Los Angeles, Culver City, Torrance, South Bay, Hawthorne, Inglewood, and Gardena.
Hey John love your videos, I want to get a Surron but I think I’m to heavy. I know the website says 225 max weight, would you think being 250 would mess the bike up going over curbs?
