you prolly dont care but does any of you know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
It's pretty refreshing to see someone ride a 50cc scooter in everyday city traffic online, especially on 45 mph roads. A lot of people act like it can't and shouldn't be done. Faster vehicles don't have anymore of a privilege to the roads as a slower moving one does, as long as they are legally allowed to drive there.
It's a dangerous thing not being able to keep up with the flow of traffic. Would like to believe that people are courteous of people that are driving them but that's just not the case
Nice road trip into work. Looking to buy 50 cc scooter soon, After watching your video I'm getting one for me and my wife...The simple things in life ~~~~
I bought one too and it's a blast. Best part is I can park it anywhere. I use the scooter more than car now to run errands --- constantly thinking can I fit what I buy at Trader Joe's under seat storage? ... probably not! ... well Scooter it is!
Great video and thanks for the tour of Greenwood Indiana. I recently bought a 2018 Zuma 50 FX and I love it, I'm a pretty big guy and I can get it to 40 mph no problem. I live in Florida so there's a lot of scooters around town. I hope this Zuma treats me right. My plan is to keep it and pay it off then give to to my wife to ride while I buy the 125cc version. I'll be happy at the 55-60 mph mark. At least I hope. Cheers!
I just got my 50cc and it awesome I love it I use it to work and so awesome no regrets it goes fast enough to keep up with traffic so I love it and just getting to work much faster
Simple life is the blissiest of the all bliss. Speaking of Starbucks, people are finally starting to realize paying $5-8 per cup of coffee with a fancy name can quickly add up.
Mine snapped a rod at 23647.9 miles wot it's whole life, other then that she never left me stranded. Got lucky that the rod snapped at the crank journal so it didn't go through the case thank god, and I installed a new crank and rod a bbk polini 70 cc. excellent machine 👍
Fellow Hoosier I live in Brazil In. I ride a 2019 50F. I was 328lbs & mine goes 40 on flat non hilly roads. I always ride in the LEFT third of the lane. Too many idiots try to split the lane with me. Nice video. 👍🏼
Stick with the 50 cc. I never had a problem. I bought a 400 cc and somebody made a left in front of me. If I had only been going 30 I would have been able to stop in time. It's been over a year and I'm still messed up.
Damn man that sucks, sorry to hear that. I have had a ton of close calls where people pulled out in front of me and you're right I stopped on a dime. Hope you get better.
I have a 2006 Taiwanese Golden Bee (TGB) Keywest 50cc. As a two stroke, it has increased power, but ultimately less mileage than the four stroke. I've thought quite a bit about getting a four stroke, and I may do that eventually, but for now, my TGB has served me well, being my primary and most relied on vehicle for the past four to five years that I've been riding it. And I, too, ride year round. I don't know what tires you have, but as a rule, regardless of my vehicle, I always go for the best all-terrain tire I can find, and for scooters, it's the Michelin Raggae, made for on or off-road riding capability. I don't often go off-road, but my thinking is, if I ever need to deviate off the road, I'd like to have the capability of doing so with as safe and durable a tire as I will ever need. Very good tire. If you're not a hot-rodder, they'll last you a long time. They have, me.
I have same year Zuma, weigh 185 and with a simple polinai variator with 4.5g weights not the 6.9 it comes with, and my Zuma now does 41 on flat and 48 down hills all gps.. not the 37mph it was limited at stock. Variator is a must.
Hey dude! just got a smoke 'in good deal on a used 2015 that is exactly like yours! I bought it for my wife, she loves it and so do I. It had 137 miles on it and is like new.
19K plus miles-I want one! I was stunned by the Tao Tao just $730 Cdn., but after seeing 2 mechanics savage it-no! So cheap you could put your safety in jeopardy.
My 2019 zuma will do 45 to 47 seems to have a physical way to keep speed down does a slip thing in the drive train when to many rpm is hit, Ruckus has electronic control of speed. I weigh 210 lbs.
I bought Ruckus about 18 months ago and out 4000 on it; itwould be more but I put 4500 on a bigger bike while re-learning motorcycling and traveling. I bought the underseat bag for the Ruck; put on saddlebags, a small bag above the lights, plus a top case to hold my helmet. I do all but big size item shopping and commuting on it. Rode it all Winter except in snow. They’re a blast! Added an air-hawk cushion, softer cover and rain cover for the seat. You lose 5-10 MPH on the hills though. If you’re in a super hilly area, then you may want 100+ cc. This rider is completely right about what he said. They’re great in town, and in the country if you’re not in a hurry. It hives you time to look around, see and enjoy things that you’d speed by in a faster vehicle.
Wait you can afford a 2 story house with another lake house and still have money for toys working at a pizza joint?? Forget Chris Pratt this guy is living the American 🇺🇸 dream
I have a zuma also it was too slow for me so i put a fox racing CDI in there (mine is fuel injected) two brothers racing exhaust lighter weight sliders on the clutch a spring for better speed and also I took the stock clutch off and put a malossi clutch if you still have it you should do some stuff like that if you want to make it a little faster mine is a 2012 zuma ive been riding it every day about for 3 years now it is an incredible machine nothing major has happened yet
I want one of these or Ruckus badly but I live near Boston and I'm afraid the way people drive here I'll die on it. I cannot wait to move to a cheaper more rural area because it sure sucks here.
First thing you do is take the spacer washer out of the drive train meant to slow yo down. brand new went from 37 to 42 miles per hour just because of that. They put them in most scooters to keep the top speed down. Like changing the belt just find the spacer and remove it, it will be up front in the variator.
Honda Rucus and tomos are best for winter weather, that ruckus would go anywhere just have to beef up the shocks, terrible ocm shocks, maybe they have improved that since then!
I have a jeep liberty that's high maintenance and is getting close to 200,000 miles. I could get into major debt and buy a big truck cuz it would look much more tough and macho, but I'm seriously considering one of these japanese scooters. I really dont give a fuck what people think. I mean, it has gigantic gas savings and its wayyyyyy easier to maintain. I just need to have a quicker way to work besides walking. And I have a great driving record and I dont care if drunks use mopeds, I really am tired of worrying about what people may think. People are mainly stupid and thoughtless so I've had enough of being self conscious about what I drive. Fuck that. Save money and get to work. It's a real blessing. Sorry for the foul language but I'm just giving you my uncensored views on this
Works at a pizza shop. Has a house , a car, a scooter, another house on the lake....where the hell did I go wrong! Lol. Real estate must be cheap there.
It's funny how you comment on over priced coffee, I have never even been in a Starbucks. I have a Honda sfx 50, which I don't ride any more as I feel it gets in the way of traffic. You already know most car drivers see you as a nuisance. I ride a Vespa 125 which most of the time keeps me out of harm's way. Nice vid...
Todd Wiley - Thanks for the video. You mentioned you used to ride a zuma 125. Why did you move to a zuma 50? If you had a choice for your type of use, would you stay with the 50? Thanks.
i have blue 2012 yamaha zuma 50f 4 stroke yw50fbl milesa on it now 28,662 led headlight bulbs newv-belt weight slider in very soon mod with dual headlight low and high same time
Either way I think that you can't go wrong. I may be a little biased towards the Zuma because I have been riding them for six years now. Yamaha in general make excellent vehicles.
@@ImSrry4BeingWhite A carburetor is one of the most ingenious devices ever developed. That simple little piece of completely mechanical technology, with very few moving parts, not only manages to do what EFI does with 10 times as many parts, most of them electronic parts prone to failure, and very expensive to troubleshoot and replace, but does it better. Carburetors are still around after more than 120 years, still working perfectly. EFI is just a patchwork nightmare that vehicle manufacturers came up with to make the EPA happy. I have been a drag racer for over 40 years, and I have never seen any EFI setup beat a properly tuned carburetor.
9:31 How much of a cheapskate are you... it's like 4 bucks a coffee... -_- Or better yet, just don't drink coffee at all... anyways great vid tho! A really nice scene where you live!
