Riding on the sea tractor from Burgh Island 

Used to work there as a driver, I drove that sea tractor in 2010, it used to have a JD combine engine in, it's hydraulic driven, no brakes, the drive lever is on the side where the drivers hip is and he pushes forward with his leg and holds it forward and back, and throttle is like a boat, the stone keeps it from wondering back into the water when it's off, at high tides the stone sits at the back wheel, driving it is fun but when there's 3000 people, kids, dogs running and swimming around you have to be so careful, the fun part is driving it at night, in the mist at around high tide now that's scary, the pilchard inn I've pulled some pints in there too, that's a great pub and was a smugglers pub years ago, the rumor was a regular smuggler was shot in the door way, the hotel is themed to 1930s, many celebrities have stayed, and on the island there is a heli port, its a very special place and was the best place to work, go if you get the chance, but you can't get in the hotel unless you stay of course

bigbury and bantham bring back a few memories from when i used to go there very year! bantham is the best place for crabbing and rock pooling.

Looks great rich, have you ever been to culdy island in Wales, there is a boat to it, but if the tides out a vehicle like that one came and picked you up off the boat.
