Take a ride on some of the roller coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! 00:00 - The Joker 01:10 - Medusa 02:34 - Superman 03:21 - Kong 04:20 - Batman #rollercoaster #themepark #travel
Medusa is one of my favorite Floorless B&Ms. It has a straight drop (instead of a twisted drop), a dive loop (instead of the Immelmann), a fantastic Zero G roll, and of course, the Sea Serpent Roll (instead of the Cobra Roll). On top of that, the first loop is incredibly graceful and floaty. I know B&M LOVES their Immelmann inversions, and they are fun, but those Dive Loops are (in my opinion), more fun. Thanks for the upload!
I rode Kong when it was Hangman at Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee (RIP Opryland 😢💔) in 1995 when it first opened. That was my first coaster I rode under the track and back then I thought that was coolest coaster. But I’ve ridden 2 B & M inverts since then (Batman the Ride @ Six Flags over Georgia and Alpengeist @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg), and 1 Intamin (Volcano the Blast Coaster (RIP 💔) @ Kings Dominion). From what I have heard, I’m glad that’s my only SLC. Seems Kong aged quite badly.
Im going to this park this summer and im curious if anyone has any tips. First time to this park. Should I rent a locker, whats the best food, best ride to hit first?
I’m going there for my birthday next month! My first time. I miss magic mountain being my home park but I moved to sacramento so I guess discovery kingdom it is. ❤❤

Yeah I'm totally bored of the whole "RMC, floorless B&M, Multi-launch Intamin" schtick that every traveling fair has these days. Where are all the new exciting rides like Zipper, Hurricane and Rock-O-Plane?
