Haha, I was clearly oblivious to the bar/scooter club thing when I started my club, because as a non drinker, I never even thought of meetups at bars. All the ones I’ve planned start at parks, bookstores, or cafes. I love this idea! Count me in!

Sober 10 years this July. SIGN ME UP! You know me, bug., I'll start a Palm Springs chapter so fast it'll make your not-quite-empty head spin! And hey, Dude...have we talked about that brake squeal??? Mine squeal professionally. Sam, my local mechanic (Sam's Cycle Repair -- Rancho Mirage, CA...shameless plug...may it reflect on my ET-2 repair bill!), will have to take care of that on my GTS 300's first service. (BTW -- why are you "out on my Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport spreading knowledge" and not "out on my Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport -- in Bianco Innocente -- spreading knowledge?" Answer me THAT, Scooter Boy!

Another fun one, Bug. Always enjoy watching these. Great idea on the club imo. I’m in the same boat only in Ohio. Still love the occasional beer here and there but usually when I buy a 6 pack it’s in the fridge for 6 months. I’d be open to being your sister in Ohio if I lived in a somewhat larger city. Not sure how much interest I’d get where I live but I definitely could give it a shot. I’d definitely join you if I were in Portland. One question… how’s the ride without the windshield now? Keeping it off permanently? I do notice a lot more helmet wind with mine on but it also blocks the bugs. Also, same break squeaking issue, mainly with the rear brake. It’s getting to the point I think I should maybe have it looked at.

We're not in bug season quite yet, so no worries on that front. I think I prefer it without. I definitely like not having it in front of me when riding. I just like the clear view, and also I think it looks better on camera. The wind buffeting was getting a bit much. For whatever reason, it's still worse than on my motorcycle at the same speed.

I'm in for a Dry Runner Ride. The Horse Brass is a favorite. Hats / Shirts with Logo, philosophy 👍 I would really enjoy getting together for a ride but haven't found where I can get a Vespa GTS300 rental. Test ride from PDX Vespa is too short. A nice skyline ride to Helvia tavern (used to take my helicopter students there in the day) and return to the Brass. Add me to the list. 🌿Bless🕊

"break out the flip flops..." It's wild to me the number of motorcycle and scooter riders who (maybe) are wearing a helmet and nothing else but street shoes and clothes. Hearing from an ICU nurse, even a crash at 60kph (37mph) the surgeons will struggle to find enough undamaged skin to graft on where the road peeled it off.. Street clothes offer practically zero protection.

Hey Mr. Bug. Me again. How ‘bout an Insta 360 X3? Could be good for the channel and would give you something to do. Sorry I can’t join the club. I’m about 12 1/2 hours away. But if you ever wanna film yourself driving over the Rockies to meet me here in Calgary I think those would make for some pretty epic videos. 😜

Also, OH drivers are just as insane. I think they must have passed a new law recently requiring drivers to drive on the middle line. I’ve seen drivers put on makeup, FaceTime their friend, and read a book all while driving. Stay safe out there. Hopefully that suit never needs to inflate🤞🏻.

Cheers m8! 100%¡ Drivers SUCK! Representing the Westside (Hillsboro). 100% dOrK here. Older than not older. Been riding since 1982. Speed makes no sense to me. I like to ride where people aren’t.
