Yes! I've never ridden Xcelerator and I believe both Taylor and Chris from Airtime Thrills said they prefer Xcelerator, but I don't know how they do. The launch may not be as intense, but I'd much prefer a more full layout than just a tophat and a banked turn.

I just went to Hershey yesterday. They repainted just about every ride and it’s a much better park than when I went 5 years ago. The entrance is really nice and storm runner doesn’t make this clicking noise it made last time I was there.

I don't feel that Storm Runner is underrated. Most enthusiasts love and respect it because it's an accelerator coaster with inversions which is rare.

I know Skyrush gets a lot of hype but to me Stormrunner is the best ride in the park. I love Hersheypark really looking forward to going back there this year.

Reminds me of when Stealth did a completely blind launch. No countdown, it was just the operator saying that it will be a blind launch and there will be no countdown. Pretty sure the screams were louder offride.

Hey I have a park to recommend, I used to go to a small park called Tweetsie Railroad with my grandparents in Boone, NC. It’s themed to a western town and almost everyone I know around where I live has been there. I haven’t been there in years but high chance nothing has changed💀

I know Xcelerator's 0-82 mph in 2.3 seconds is insane, but 0-72 mph in 2 seconds on Storm Runner is probably similar to what you'll experience on Xcelerator. That launch was mad~ It's a shame Intamin doesn't sell the accelerator coaster model anymore, but for the ones that were built, consider those parks lucky :)

Ahh yes Hershey park. I have such mixed feelings. I know it has become a great place for amusement park enthusiasts and I am very happy for that...and you all. However, I remember around 35 years ago taking my kids there every year and how we loved how quite it was (no crowds/lines) spotless clean and a great place all around. A couple of wooden coasters. The whole town smelled of chocolate since they made it in the factory next door (the monorail went passed it). In later years I took my grandkids there yearly also. These days the memories are gone as it has become very modern and they even changed the whole entrance way which we used to actually visit at times without going into the park. It was kind of part of Chocolate world. Shops and stuff. Somehow I'm saddened. But I am happy for all of you. Enjoy! I hope I didn't bring anyone down. Sorry :)

I miss the old free entrance area, "Tudor Square". It was more like a themed land. I also loved some of the long-gone rides, like the sky bucket ride (the big one, not the little chairlift one that still exists) and the Giant Wheel (again, different from today's Ferris wheel--it was in the old Carrousel Circle area and was a double wheel with cars you could spin). My very first roller coaster, Trailblazer, is still there. There's not much to it but I thought it was pretty intense at the time.

I went in 2019 for the first time and was disappointed that it does not, as a matter of fact, smell like chocolate in the air in Hershey PA.

@@DCombz Yea, that fantastic, traditional, part of Hershey is long gone. I believe the Factory has been turned into apartments. It's a different place now. But at one time the whole area...town and park...smelled of Chocolate.

@@tommysdirtandsoultommytheh1569 when I was a kid a tour of the chocolate factory was in fact the real factory. And it smelled great. Now it's just a tour through a marketplace for buying candy and tshirts. We did like the part where u make your own chocolate bar atleast.

Candymonium, Skyrush, Fahrenheit, Great Bear and Storm Runner are all pretty awesome. Some minor nitpicks... Fahrenheit lines tend to be long. Skyrush can be punishing. Storm Runner is a short ride. Great Bear and Candymonium are beyond reproach. Rest of the coasters are solid. Trailblazer and Wild Mouse and Sooper Dooper Looper are the least intense. Laff Track is only okay for me. Comet is very good for its age. Lightning Racer does not have one side that always wins. (I think it's probably dependent on the weather that day). Wildkat is rough. Some like it rough though. But food recs. Go to the pit BBQ place near trailblazer when you want to eat. Order a Yeungling if you're of age. The kettle corn is solid, as are the toasted nuts. The most interesting things are the mega milkshakes. I forget what theyre called. And theres some solid fudge inside the park store as you leave the park. Most of the food is not as good as it seems it could be, but you're going to walk past Chocolate World after you leave the park so you might as well buy some and take candy with you. They do have some varieties that you won't find elsewhere, and stuff like softball sized hershey kisses.

@@kevingreen5793 They had to get special permission to film so I'm just guessing, but maybe only Sarah and Taylor had permissions but their friends might not have. They wanted to film both ride reactions, and Taylor said Sarah's gopro crapped out. Just guessing though.
