The one in Seattle is a joke compared to this one Also, did American cities stopped growing after the year 1940? This looks so small, maybe 35-45.000 people tops.
There are many cities in the United States especially in the southern USA which have been growing significantly in the past several decades. A lot of people left Detroit in the 1960s for either the suburbs or to other cities due to problems going on in the city. As a result, the population decreased a lot since the earlier part of the 20th Century. Detroit to this day however has around 620,000 people right now.
@@tsnovak20 Austin is a prime example. The downtown area has grown significantly in the past two decades. I have been there 3 times in the past several years, and there are more skyscrapers being built every time I go.
@@scottman895 yeah I agree, although, all the new buildings aged like milk, they are already very unpleasant to look at. I wish we can bring beauty to the architecture again.
