Riding the Eagle Cap Excursion Train

We took a ride on the Eagle Cap Excursion Train in Elgin, Oregon.
It was a Veteran's Special. We really enjoyed the ride and the awesome hospitality of all the volunteers!

yes - they did allow dogs - one vet had a dog helping him along - just not many bathroom breaks for the poor guy :(

Really digging your channel! Great production and music, all of it. 🎶 Lol...the entire town of Elgin could fit in that restaurant. And for crying out loud we need more people train's In the U.S. Don't we? Best way too see the country or get too work.

yes I do think they would have just enough room for the whole town - and I think on friday nights they are indeed present there :) yes - in light of what has happened to airflight and ships - we do need to "rediscover" train travel!
