RIDING THE RED TRAILS AT BIKEPARK WALES// HARDER THAN I THOUGHT!

Before Tom had his accident we went to Bikepark Wales for the day to film something exciting which you will see very soon. We had some spare time so I decided to push myself and try and ride some of the red advanced trails that they have to offer. It was harder than I thought... the jumps were quite big and there were some challenging drops but I made it through them and learnt a lot about my riding. I did however surprise myself and managed to get through the top part of the jumps on the A470 line which I was stoked about.

its so refreshing to see a normal person riding MTB, I like you enjoy it but am no where near good enough for most of the stuff you see online, I really enjoy watching your honest and frank approach and can really relate, your a lot younger than me but its lovely to see someone who is experiencing the same doubts and worries as the rest of us, Well done Kara!

For anyone who hasn’t been to bpw. Those first 3 jumps that kara cleared on A470 are actually a fair size! (Saying as they look small on video) Well done Kara!

Really relate when you headed to Willy Waver. I've enjoyed pushing my limits lately, but it just makes me feel like everything is so hard! Love the flowy trails. Need to remember to keep a good mix of enjoyment and progression 👍 Great video 🙌 Thanks ❤

Well done Cara, great sends and what i can see now is me the last year, keep going like this and next year you will have 30 ft jump eazy!🤙 A quick advice for a really sick place the Warley bike park wich is Brentwood forest, in that place i progress a lot over 5 months and i done the road gap on the hardtail and manny things wich i never guanna do it before ... I been so happy to smash that line. I know you been there in the past but now it's completely different. Hope to see you there. All the best and hope fast recovery for Tom bless you guys.🙏

Cara, you're doing great you have come a long way since you started. I would recommend that when you ride with someone introduce them to your fans. Some of fans might like to know who you riding with. Just a sugestion

Hey kara great vid , you may not have realised or still didn't pick up on was the fact you did all those tech trails with your fork locked out ! ( turn the blue compression adjuster to open the fork up, your hands will be happy after )

I spotted that, wasn't totally sure though. Really not what you want on those trails! Easy to knock them when unloading the bikes from a car etc.

Could be cool to see you do training at the house with Tom then hitting the trails with your other friends while he's recovering. Also cool to see your improvement, especially overcoming plateaus, look like you have recently, a good reminder practice makes for improvement.

I say this with the best possible intentions and dont mean to sound rude, but I think you would really benefit from a few sessions working on line choice. Maybe something Tom can help with while he is injured, it would make for great content too :) great job on these trails, I need to get myself to BPW soon

Your forks look like their locked out or your compression is set high open them up that should help you with your shoulder and wrist pain from casing the jumps. Great riding though can’t wait to visit BPW at some point 👍

Hi Great vid. Can you tell me the technique for the bridge drop before A470 ( slower speed on to drop). I looked at the drop a few weeks ago but walked away Cheers Sian

Had to laugh at your insufficient funds run as that is exactly how I ride it, casing the jumps all the way! ouch. Well done for doing all the drops blind though, took me a while to build up to them
