Man was Daniel Ridge good to us. It was a blast to ride. Started out winding our way through the rhododendron jungle full of creek crossings, to some steep root climbing with a bit of hike a bike mixed in. Then came the downs. Chunky rocks and roots everywhere made for a blast of a descent. It wasn't the fastest trail but navigating it was a ball of fun. Not to mention riding the ridge above the creek bed for the last part of it was a treat too. Once we got off the single track it was all speedy double track back to the car.
