Amazing video and amazing silver line to Dulles. I usually avoid flying to Dulles because there’s not good transportation to there but now with Silver line I’ll give it a chance. Thanks for the information!
The Silver Line for only $2 wow what a bargin! This video has beautiful views from the train including the planes nearby on the map. Like he said going into the Martrix, this video really was so cool to watch.
Great Video! Just so you know I did notice one tiny error at 0:36: The word Potomac is actually pronounced “Puh tow mick”. I live south of DC and know the area very well and so I just wanted to point that out
Thank you for the video. I have been living in the Silver Line extension area for a very long time. IMO, rail to Dulles Airport should have been built a long time ago. I am guessing that because those areas leading to the airport were not developed back then; there was not a big demand for the rail service. Herndon, Reston and Tyson's (Vienna and McLean) did not have much development until about 20-22 years ago. I always enjoyed watching the Silver Line being built (worked in Tyson's Corner). The first part of the Silver Line opened in 2014. I rode it the first day of operation from Reston to DC (going to a concert). I have yet to ride the Silver Line to Dulles Airport and beyond. Maybe that would be a good thing to do this upcoming federal holiday. I am now happy that area is now serviced by rail.
Me too this opens up Washington Dulles for many people. I literally never considered going to that airport because of the hundred dollar Uber rides to get to downtown DC. But now I’ve opened up Washington Dulles to my flight agendas. So now it’s BWI, DCA or IAD
