Love that you got the full Hamleys experience of being wowed by the demo and buying some tat ! They've caught me out a few times over the years ! Stick with Lego and you can't go wrong !
I wouldn't be surprised that the toy they were showing for example was just a fake toy it was probably made to look amazing and had other features the toy you can buy didn't.
What an amazing shop! Taking my son there at Christmas so it's good to know how close to the tube it is and which station to get off at saves me searching lol!
The huge optimus Prime was epic! I'm glad you returned that gimmicky toy and got the transformer instead. Great pulls also on the super mario character packs. The squirrel character and Nabbit are my two favorites. I'm debating on buying a whole box of them but my wallet is saying don't do it lol. Riding the tube looked pretty fun experience, at least to say you've ridden one in your life. Excellent video my friend. 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed the pringles. Hamleys is quite the experience! I think we were one of the UKitectors to send you the Hamleys royal guard minifig! You're not the only one to exit Victoria Station from the tube and get totally disoriented! We did it several times. I swear the escalators are like the staircases at hogwarts always changing! You really were just over the road from our favourite Premier Inn!
Thank you very much! This comment means more than you can imagine to me after spending almost an entire day editing one of these vacation vlogs. My goal is exactly what you described!
I can't believe Hamleys are charging £26 for the LEGO Aston Martin, anywhere that I've seen it in the UK it has been less than £20. I guess that's London prices for you. Hope you enjoyed your trip to the UK 🇬🇧
That is one amazing Toy store. We definitely need something like that in Pennsylvania. I don't know if I could ever take the tube. Way too peoplely for me.
Omg! That HP toy was rubbish, can’t believe hamleys would even stock that trash. I’d have a demanded a refund and a discount on the transformers toy. Yep, the underground gets mighty hot and sweaty. You were lucky to get seats too. Usually they pack the carriages like sardines in a can. One thing I have noticed is that you guys picked some super expensive and amazing places to eat ha! It’s almost a ‘foodie’ vlog of the uk It’s a shame the Leicester Square Lego store was shut. Totally bad timing with your holiday dates, but to be honest it’s an excuse to make a return visit :)
You'd have been better walking, pass Buckingham Palace and then Green Park to Piccadilly then to Piccadilly Circus. Don't do tube for short journeys in London, either walk or do bus, see so much more.
