I would love to see more POVs of coasters similar to this style. The traditional way of the camera in front of the train doesn’t offer the viewer much perspective. Just the layout. By showing the actual train relative to the track, it helps relay speed on video. And then y’all’s reaction shows the intensity. Really love these styles!

Gonna use my coaster nerd here, but Voyage uses polyurethane wheels unlike most wooden coasters which use steel wheels. Polyurethane causes much less friction than steel, allowing it to be such a long ride! Eltoro uses steel wheels and that has drive tires on its brake run if it slows too much on the layout.

The entire ride is on a hill, so the midcourse is actually at one of the highest points of that hill. The mid course is only a few feet off the ground, and then the second half is all downhill

@@williamhoward9121 That's not what the drive tires on the brake run are for. Pretty sure they're simply to get the train going if it has to mid-course emergency stop because block ahead isn't clear. Not sure I've ever seen a coaster that has friction wheels that'll boost you if the coaster is running slow.

Rode it 10 times on my first ever visit last week. Easily the best wooden coaster I’ve done, and quite possibly my number 1 overall. The airtime and bank turns are great, but the relentless speed really makes the ride. My favourite part was getting to near the end and you’re still screaming through those tunnels under the station.

This is my number one and it’s not even close. I have it over velocicoaster and iron gwazi. The feeling you get on this ride is unmatched. The wooden feel + the aggressive layout + the speed + the length makes this feel like a ride that tries to kill you. It is absolutely bonkers and soooo out of control. I love this thing.

Got to ride it two weeks ago. It literally took me a full hour to process what I had just experienced. The variation, intensity and length is like no other coaster that I have ridden. It isn't my number one, but only because it is harder to marathon, but it is incredible. I love that coaster.

The Voyage is insane, and that is 100% a compliment. You really captured the relentlessness of this ride, not to mention you were in an empty train! The first time I rode this back in 2019, I started laughing hysterically during the second half of the ride. It just kept getting faster and wouldn't let up. I had to catch my breath at the end and I remember saying going into the station that there was no doubt it was the greatest wooden coaster I had ever ridden let alone one of the greatest overall. As good as the first half of this ride is, I think the trip back to the station starting with that triple down is the most insane part. I plan to go back to Holiday World next year and get some more rides on this amazing coaster along with their other world class rides!

Out of 273, The Voyage is easily my #1. I really can’t think of any roller coaster that will ever beat it for me. I consider expert engineering in my rankings, so this is my #1 and X2 is my #2. Those are the only two roller coasters that have ever thrown me into a laughing fit. It’s just a perfect ride.

This has always been a bucket list coaster of mine, and 2 weeks ago I finally got to ride it. It was literally everything I expected, yet so much more. Just an amazing, complete ride that found its place all the way up at my number 5 overall. They absolutely killed it with this coaster! Can't wait to get a night ride on this bad boy! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say this is definitely a top-3 woodie in the world!

Was there 2 weeks ago and rode voyage 104 times in 3 days which totals me 504 rides on voyage, my largest marathon was on the 2nd day resulting in 42 consecutive rides. Great vid btw! I always look forward to the uploads and your journey ahead! Also realized I had not yet subbed so made sure to do that!

This coaster is everybit as relentless as it shows. This coaster will never give up and just gets more and more aggressive. By far the most ruthless ride experience ever. 10/10. Best coaster period. Santa Clause Indiana is really out in the middle of no where and def a drive. This coaster makes the entire trip worth it. All the coasters here are actually quite good. For a small park, massive props. Pro-tip, arrive at least 45 mins before park open. Voyager will be empty for the first hour the park is open tends to be the norm. you can absolutely stack on multiple rides fast. They don't do fast pass here, and free soda and and sun screen.

Wow I really love how many people are saying "The Beast" on here. It was also my favorite for years. I've been visiting Kings Island since the early 80s so Beast is really like a family member to me. But I have to say these days that Shivering Timbers has taken the crown. I can't wait to get down to Santa Claus and try all of the woodies at Holiday World.

The hill this coaster was built on work WONDERS for the coaster IMO. All that speed after the mid course I feel wouldn't be possible if it was built in any other location. All the tunnels you cut through to pierce the hill is proof of that, especially near the end run

I think the greatest coaster in the world would be an rmc coaster that stays low and fast to the ground, flying through the woods and has that non-stop airtime. If RMC ever tries to do what this coaster is world-famous for, it will be something spectacular

Probably the closest we'll ever get to a Polar Express/Glacier Gulch roller coaster, something I've always wanted to ride since I saw that movie as a little kid. And it may end up being my 300th coaster when I ride it in August, which I'm super hyped for.
