In this episode on Tekniq, Let us sit in on a journey made on the streets of Pakistan, using a unique and gigantic triple-decker bus suitable and more comfortable for longer journeys.
I appreciate his efforts but I really want to know if that's the same rag he wiped the tires with cuz he definitely went from exterior to interior with the same cloth! 😂😳
Love the "Ferrari logo" on both sides of the bus.. The "imagination" of this guys to maximize the space with confort and the ways they find to captivate customers its just Amazing. PS: and those exclusive "1st Class" private seats on both sides of the bus...Pure Class. Well Done .👍👍👏👏
You have no idea how these are built do you? There are no safety standards, no safety rules or inspections, these are handmade as fast as can be with the cheapest materials they find, like patchwork. Literaly they are frankenstein vehicles ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5lrTLK1sfdQ.htmlsi=TYKIkZlFtyVTEsvv
How do you know someone is an Engineer? You don't have to ask because they will always tell you. ó¿ó sorry @realkanavdhawan I'm surrounded by Engineers :)
As a 43 year veteran long haul bus driver I was shocked at the wide blind spot front window pillars. This bus looks like it was put together in someones garage shop. But from a distance it does look impressive. I'd be very afraid to ride in the lower luggage compartment turned into luxury seating. How many passengers does it carry with three decks? Our buses carry 55 passengers and have triple axles. Looks like a fun bus though.
From what I could see of the vehicle configuration, it's about 56: 20 main saloon upper level, 20 main saloon lower level, 4 VIP saloon at rear, and 12 at "Limousine" level (6x bays of two). 💺 Thing to note here is this is a sleeper configuration, and the same principles applied to economy class seated might yield 1,5x the capacity (80 pax) vehicle load limits permitting. 😇
@@dieseldragon6756western vehicle load limits maybe but haven't you ever seen in parts of India where people are literally hanging off trains and how in some Asian countries people are crammed like sardines in subways
@@dieseldragon6756 not sure about that. The bus has 6 side windows, but we only see 5 "cabs" on each side (around 7:33, count the red curtains). There are stairs going up for the 6th window (5:08 for example), but there is no view inside the rear part. The berths configs are 2+1 (with one seat on the left and two on the right (in direction of travel, 3:16 ), so the visible part is 3 seats per row x 5 rows x 2 levels = 30. Then the lowest "limousine level", which probably has 2 seats per "row", thus 12 in total (as you wrote). The total is 42 plus whatever you find in the back ("6th row")
the question is, how much are the tickets, and how much the driver's (and other employees) cost. If there is enough of a difference, that bus can easily make money. Drivers "in the west" are rather expensive, and people are not willing to spend much money on a bus trip, so they try to fill them up more.
I’m not even going to lie. This is the most interesting take on a bus I’ve seen. Use the juggled area as seating and cover it with used car doors. Genius
oh yes. and I guess, this thing could never run on european or north american roads because of all the safety violations and non-regular additions. but I've noticed a few fire extinguishers. and ferrari might send their lawyers because of that logo on the door. but mad respect for building and operating that bus, it looks fantastic.
@@robertheinrich2994yeah, cuz it also seems like if the bus tips over, the people on lower part that are on the side the bus falls on will just be stuck there until the turn the bus right side up again
I love how all the preparation is patiently and lovingly done….then the bus pulls out into MadMax, chaotic, no-rules, every-man-for-himself, cut-throat road conditions!😅
If you have ever saw or have gone through Pakistani roads/highway it's actually far more of a death defying game of chicken! I'm surprised the traffic in this vid is quite tame in comparison.
This is funny what i tell you my home was near by that bus stand. It is kind of MadMax Furry Road, but not the same its just out side of the main city and near by the mountains the weather remains mostly dry and dusty so it is kind of MadMax furry
They could create an escape door on the bottom of the bus, You could even create a sort of gravity activated latch that won't allow you to accidentally open it unless it's on it's side, so you don't accidentally pull on it and eject yourself out the bottom of the bus.
You’ve clearly never searched Kenyan public transport.. being in one is even cooler. They are basically nightclubs on wheels. Air suspension. Vr gaming.. loud music. Lights. Aquarium floors.. and it’s not specific buses. All of them.
@@hwytran Cars were never following specific designs in the past, if the technicians have sufficient knowledges and experiences, customisation can pay off way better than just buying a new one in some case, especially finically wise.
Also this bus is WAY more comfortable than any trains or bus in UK 💀 Except maybe bus that stupid billionaires ride, not even millionaire can afford multi tens of millions on a stupid transport in UK for some golden shit.
From a distance it looks very modern and funky. Aggressive-style lights, swooping chrome lines, curvy design - all very nice. But then you see the colossal blind spots, the manual gearbox, no suspension seat for the driver, ill-fitting buttons, the mismatched instrument cluster, panel gaps... This is a conversion of some bus and a lot of it was done in some garage. Not in a factory. It's an interesting concept... turning the luggage compartment into luxury seats, but what happens in an accident... if the bus is on it's side, how do the people get out? Because from what you can see the left and right sides are separated. Also, where does the luggage go? Still, I am impressed by the ingenuity and skills the people have to make such a thing work and maintain it.
😂😂😂😂 7:10 when the guide was searching the passengers, he literally tapped their hips and thighs, totally ignoring the backpack! Top end security there! 😂😂😂
No, it's absolutely fine. As all experienced security experts know, mass-murderers, terrorists and hijackers never stow IUDs or firearms in their backpacks. Instead rucksacks are used exclusively to carry their sandwiches and, perhaps, a fresh pair of socks. Any form of armament or explosive is ALWAYS strapped to the hips or thighs. I'm rather surprised you didn't know this 😉😁
Love it. That bus would go great in Australia for people afraid of flying. If you've ever been anywhere on a bus here and travel a great distance it's not pleasant, even though bus companies do there best, but nothing even close. It can take 4-5 days to go from Perth to Sydney by road so something similar to this would make the long trip more pleasant. Well done
@perekman3570 that would be the least of your worries. You'd get no sleep because the drivers all honk their horns constantly. It's not an air-ride bus so the ride would be massively uncomfortable and bouncy. I doubt the aircon works well down that far in the bus, and the build quality looks so poor, the seats will be uncomfortable and everything will be rattling.
Absolutely love this concept, as a child i draw jeepneys, cars, bus & boat designs, but never thought of this unique design..but my concern is that the large cargo bay is compromise, & a little bit scary when your in a big bus & your in the bottom of it.. but very nice concept👍🏻🤘👌
Super international is Bus Transport company in Pakistan...and 1st introducer of double decker Sleeper in 2019 and in 2023 1st time Triple Decker in World and Falcon is also seating buses of Al Munir Super International Coach
DD ALGERIA!!! I hope you know what does it mean. Those two acronims. When you think about it,world would be much better place if these DD acronims would come true.
thats a great idea, the limo seats are a great way to add private first class cabins without taking away from the bus above. a great way to supplement income.
As someone who is disabled and doesn’t drive, I would love to see buses like that in the US trying to go anywhere with the bus in the US is a nightmare there’s literally no legroom. I think I rode on one for like 2 miles once and it was a terrible ride, would never take a bus anywhere however, if the bus is real like that, I take them anywhere all the time.
that lower level limousine seating position is absolutely creative and very very interesting. i wud actually love to travel that way. Also for those wondering what is the make and model of the bus Its clearly Ferrari EL SarPlus edition as visible by the big logo on the door/body decals just dont drive over fire, cuz u'd be grillin some serious meat 😂😂😂😂
Actually, i'm VERY surprised that a bus like this is driving in Pakistan and not in countries like the US, Japan, China or similar where this idea could be a GOLD mine for sure! I mean, imagine the prices that people will probably pay for this level of VIP comfort! Its probably on the same level like a 1st class flight ticket.
@@jamshedjamali1913 I don't think it's Chinese, I feel like it's a fake "Yutong" built in Pakistan...The steering wheel has a Daewoo logo and the engine looks really old, pretty sure they reused a Daewoo chassis
The lower seating arrangement violates any inspection of the bus itself and it likely doesn’t meet the height restrictions present in a lot of places in the US with the stack of the seating. It also is probably one of if not THE most expensive bus on the roads in Pakistan so its cost is probably going to be several million dollars US
Well problem is connectivity in pakistan some small towns there aren't connect with air and train service is crap so I guess people don't mind paying a high fare for this
Bro listen pakistanis ideas world bestest ideas always in every field if pakistani government support them believe we pakistanis roles them all new technologies companies
Alfin alguien mas que se entera de la existencia de este bus muy particular Pero como escaparan los del primer piso en caso que se caiga aun costado esa ventanira no cabria una persona
MARAVILLOSO....FANTASTICO...ULTRALUXURIOUS...WOW...FERRARI makes these ginormous buses? 0:47...the mechanic working on small details of the engine, frugally with bare hands and no eye-protection, tears my heart. If I was closer, I would have bought him and personally delivered those items to him, to include hand gloves-mechanical grade. secondly, the driver-operator seems to be the only other person on this huge vehicle, to clean the exterior, interior, then security-guard to check incoming passengers with metal detectors and then drive, but no sun-glasses. I would have bought him a high-grade goggles with UV protection. These are such frugal undertakings !!! I just wonder, how come they do not employ few people on ground at the terminal to do the clean up?? I mean, give the driver a break !! In the SE Asia regions, most such buses have a driver and a conductor - have conductor do the safety check and overall management of the interior and passengers, I mean it would open up few jobs !! why not??
You would have to be a deranged person to book a ride on this vehicle just to leave your body fluids on or in this vehicle., then again, if you are with a companion?
This is nice! Wish they do a better sanitary cleaning in high risk touched areas using clean cloth rags. Also, the driver was extremely handsome, i would hire him as my personal driver! 😅
Relieved to see they at least have fire extinguishers in those under compartments, imagine if you couldn't get the driver to stop and had to jump out while moving haha. Well done with the engineering on this bus though, great ingenuity. Love how they have a can do attitude with what they have access to. amazing.
Comrade , Sim, está a afundar-se como a maioria das grandes civilizações faz dentro de 200 anos. Eles sucumbiram aos seus desejos carnais e agora chamam o errado de "certo" e o mal de "bom". @@Oterrivel
That's the first triple decker I have seen. In the UK there's double decker coaches and where you have that low level single compartments there's luggage storage. Some have toilets, it's just horrid luck to end up sitting in a seat next to a toilet so it's best reserve a seat you picked in advance.
