The prolific and consistent classically trained American composer and multi instrumentalist RIFF KITTEN (try saying that quickly!) drops his third album in as many years on Freshly Squeezed. The album includes the strongest singles from 2022 plus another handful of unreleased material. His trademark dark electro swing sound now gives way to a more frenetic and upbeat jazz influenced approach. Racing pianos, bouncing horn lines, saxophone riffs and double bass all collide with electronic flourishes. There are only a few vocal tracks, but a confident showing of new instrumentals from a young producer really finding his groove.
